I usually get off work at 5, but might be able to leave a bit early if thats what others want. Josh said he'd like to come too.

I can't leave work before 5 but (depending on how bad the Friday traffic is), should be able to get there for 6ish.

OK. So maybe some of us should meet up earlier and then migrate to Nando's for 6:30?

Any chance anyone would be up for a drink around 5? I just really don't want to hang around work any later than I have to!  ;)

I'll be driving so I can't have much to drink but one or two before dinner should be ok as long as I quit then. If I leave the hospital at 4:30 it'll take me about a half hour to get up Uxbridge Road and park. There's a cute pub on Ealing Common but I'm not sure I could explain how to get there so maybe a more central one would be better. The simplest one would be the big one on the corner as you walk down the hill from Ealing Broadway station....

Should we post this in Gatherings in case anyone's missed it because it's under Food Talk? Or are we trying to keep it intimate for the Nando's devotees and virgins?  :D

Oh, and I have to have the car back home for dh to go to work by 10 at the very latest so I'll have to be sure I leave Ealing by about 9:15....

I wish I could come earlier Anne, but I took off a bit early today for a driving lesson and my boss hates when I ask too often. I'll get there as soon as I can though!

I'll cross post in Meetings. Why not? If someone hates Nando's they won't come regardless.  ;D

Right. I'm getting ready for work and it's snowing. There's nothing on the ground so clearly it just started.... IF (and it's a big if - I'm not too worried) it's still snowing this evening, can we re-schedule? I'm just thinking that it will bugger up public transport for some and make my drive home a misery.... Just thinking ahead though - I don't really think it'll carry on.

And if there's no snow... Kim any chance you can get to Ealing by 5:30? I'm sure I can kill an hour parking and running a couple of errands but I'm not sure I want to kill 2 hours and I'm definitely not prepared to hang around the office.  ;)

Okay well I'm planning on going!  I will be leaving my office at 5:30, probably won't get to Ealing Common until 6:30 I'm guessing at the earliest...

Good idea, considering some of us might have missed it had it not been pointed out! ;)

And I seriously doubt there will be any snow today/tonight.

I wasn't sure before, but I think I can probably get to Ealing by 5:30. Do you just want to meet at the station? Is it near Ealing Broadway or Ealing Common?

Let's meet at Ealing Broadway at 5:30. That's slightly more central than Ealing Common (but still very close) and will give us more options of places to get a drink before we set off for Nando's! Let's meet in the Starbucks just outside the station (turn left as you come out of the station - it's a few storefronts down....)

Yep, too right. It stopped about a half hour after it started at home and none of it settled. Though it was pretty in the air. At work there were approximately six snowflakes and then the sun came out! LOL.

I always have such a great time with you all!  Thanks for a much-needed break from work and stress.  Photos are posted in my gallery.  Anne and E - you missed loads of fun at salsa dancing!  I didn't want to leave!  ;D
