You know, I didn't see him at all on last night's show.  Most of the other guys, but not him.  I know he'll be on tonight, though.

Not only is Sanjaya back, but so is the annoying crying girl....AND SHE'S STILL CRYING!!!  ::)

warning to others: not just Yahoo, but also Yahoo UK, are announcing the winner of AI on their home pages. (I used to just avoid yahoo.com at this time, but yahoo.co.uk has spoiled it for me this time!)

Not bad.... for once!

Another warning:  I don't know how they edit it in the UK, but the result show ran about 10 minutes long here.  Which means my DVR cut off just as Ryan said "And your next American Idol is....."  >:(

We actually started recording Heroes an extra ten minutes, just in case.  How fabulous was the season finale? :D

I made a point of not coming to UKY for the past couple of days because I couldn't watch the Idol finale until last night ... and now I find nobody's really talked about it at all! I know it wasn't much of a surprise, but still!

It was kind of lackluster, don't you think?  I'm not a big fan of the group singing stuff, so all of that was kinda pointless to me.

Honestly, though, I'm most annoyed that they let Sanjaya sing on his own.  It was a dumb gimmick that wasted everyone's time.  I would have rather they let Lakisha have a solo song - give it to someone who deserves it.

Maybe I'm grumpy because there was no suspense.  As much as I love Blake, Jordin's win was pretty much a foregone conclusion.  I just wanted them to announce it and be over with it. :-\\\\
