Ok all you cheese freaks...

Share your love of cheese here! ;D

Inspired by my other thread (What food/drink can you not live without?), it seems clear that cheese is a major love in many of our lives.

Mom recently told me about a grilled cheese sandwich she had at a new restaurant called Oz. Chophouse:

Five cheese grilled cheese
Provolone, Swiss, cheddar, smoked gouda, brie, fresh tomato, Texas toast

Yum! Apparently it's optional with bacon, too.

Right now I'm on a herby/garlicky cheese kick. Goats cheese is ideal for this but Boursin is good, or roule, or even the Philly!

I'm always in search of the perfect cheddar or blue as well.

OK, getting hungry!

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

That cheese sandwich sounds awesome Caryn!

Got some delicious cheeses just before Xmas at the farmers market.  The best Caerphilly I've ever had and something else called Sweet Milk cheese which was divine as well. Mmmmmmm.

Currently enjoying a wonderful bit of Godminster cheddar (inspired by the lovely Pam).  Simply marvellous!

Oh yes, Godminster is so far my all time favorite cheddar. It is divine!!

Over Christmas I had this:

my cheese tastes are pretty basic... my everyday favourite is Red Leicester, followed closely by Double Gloucester.

If i get 'fancy', i like Port Salut, or that gouda with cumin seeds that you get in Holland.  I also love the Boursin 'poivre' variety... i use it to make a black pepper/cheese sauce.

Very basic - I love ALL cheese.  A personal fav is the classic Wensleydale with cranberries.  YUM!

I like a creamy stilton

my everyday cheese is Double Gloucester but only for sandwiches.

Boursin is good on crackers

Brie/Camembert is good with bread.

I like to get a bit of sheep and goat in there once in a while.

I like a variety.  It's all good!

Stilton is our local cheese!

my new favourite way to eat it is on a toasted baguette with dulce de leche and then melted under the grill.  Seems like it would be an odd combination but it is so yummy!

Red Leicester is amazing. I love that cheese. Although I'll eat any kind except Limberger cheese I think Feta or Dublin cheddar is my favorite. This thread is making me hungry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheese good!  Mmmmmm! ;D

Hard to think of one I don't like, but I'm sure there must be at least one.  We have Canadian cheddar, double gloucester with chives, white stilton with apricot, mozzarella and parmesan in the fridge right now.
