Thank you, Stephanie! That sounds great! I may make some on Christmas Eve. Hopefully I will have time! If not, I'm gonna print that recipe anyway and put it in my cookbook for next year.

Oh man, those pumpkin cupcakes with the cinnamon cream cheese icing are the bomb diggity.  ;) I think they are one of the tastiest things I have ever baked. I'm going to take them to work, though, so I don't end up eating them all. Everyone is going to be so surprised!

2 tbl brandy

Thanks for posting. Brandy? Sounds interesting and think I will try that.
Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.

Last night I baked lasagna and was thisclose to burning it. Regardless, it was actually pretty tasty!

I'm baking banana bread right now to take to the ILs for Christmas.

Mentally preparing myself for the baking tonight.  Luckily all the dough is in the freezer, except for the chocolate chips.

So we have:

Molasses
cream cheese spritz
eggnog spritz
cut-outs
kiffles
chocolate chip
possibly peanut butter?

Hooray!  I love cookies.

Wow bookgirl, that's a lot of baking! Sounds yummy though!

I'm on my third round of sugar cookies...hoping to have some left to give to the inlaws this time.

It is the rolling out for the cut-outs and kiffles that is a pita.  But luckily I have my little helper, usually known as DH.

I make him responsible for decorating the cut-outs.  Heh.

Luckily all the dough is in the freezer

I never have any room in my freezer for nice things like cookie dough.  I hate my small chest freezer.
I made a pecan and a small apple pie today.

Yum! I should try this with the leftover pumpkin puree in the freezer.

About to put in a cranberry orange loaf which will be drizzled with orange glacé icing once cooled, and I'm going to also make some pumpkin ginger nut muffins tonight.

I haven't bought anything for the freezer in two weeks.  I even finished off all the gross old corn and stuff.

Phew.  Kiffles, cut-outs, cream cheese and molasses done.  Tomorrow, chocolate chip and eggnog.  Darn, and two types of cranberry sauce.  D'oh!
