Sinfully rich devil's food cupcakes with chocolate icing and Cadbury Flake and Mini Egg nests on top with DSS for our Easter celebration with him (since we don't have him on Easter). They are like death-by-chocolate!

Nothing as good as Jewlz death by chocolate cupacakes mine was sweet tater.

Not exactly baked, but I made several batches of Rice Krispie Treats for the cake stall at the school Easter Fayre.

I baked some nice crusty white bread (perfect for toasting) yesterday and am attempting hot cross buns today - but I fear a disaster.

I think Mrs R should circulate the leftovers to all us Yorkshire folk!  ;D

Have a bril Easter!

I'm thinking about more Victoria sponge cupcakes with lemon curd icing topped with cadbury mini eggs and some cappuccino chocolate chip bread, but we have Turtle Bars to finish. I think I'll try new cupcakes next. Don't know what combination.

You're assuming there will be some left by the time we leave Gloucestershire...  :-[

May be gone before you arrive!  ;D

Gonna do mocha cupcakes with coffee buttercream icing next. Hope I can find chocolate covered coffee beans for topping.

Found truffle and amaretto chocolate covered coffee beans, so I may do more cupcakes this evening, providing I can do a shift around in the freezer for storage. I also may make them au chocolate lava centres.

OMG. I'm gonna pretend I didn't see any of this.  :P

I baked some pumpkin bran muffins. Although they certainly taste healthy, they aren't actually that bad. But, DH took one bite and went running for the bin, so I guess they aren't that great, either! It helps if I remember that he hates the taste of wheat, so that makes me feel less bad about him revolting my baked goods.  ;)

Well, you can rest easy, as I haven't done them yet - instead I am making Nanaimo Bars at the moment. Equally healthy!  :P
