I followed this recipe, using the modifications of the first commenter. I put in 1/2 tsp of baking soda, 1/2 tsp of baking powder, since they didn't specify whether "T" was tbsp or tsp.

I also doubled the cinnamon/chilli powder - one "dose" in the dough, and one in the topping...they taste just right, so I'll be repeating those tweaks. :)

Mmmm. I happily consumed two of these. DH did not want his, so I made sure it didn't go to waste. ;)

Blasphemy! How do you turn down chocolate and chilli in cookies?!

Glad you liked them, though. :)

He's weird with sweets! Sometimes he devours them and sometimes he turns his nose up. The only thing that is always a winner is cheesecake. As for me, I will eat anything sugary any time of day. ;)

Mmmmm!  Sunday I baked chocolate chip muffins, but I don't have a muffin tin so it was just one really big muffin!

Amish Cinnamon Rolls with Caramel Frosting

Yesterday.  I put more than 2 Tablespoons Cinnamon in them, however - more like 1/4 c, because 2 Tablespoons didn't sound like enough to me.

They're loaded with butter & sugar - which I don't really need to be eating, so I sent about half home with Mrs & Mr Persephone, and most of the other half went to work with DH today.  The boys in his office said this was the best thing I had baked for them ever!  Lol!
Ring the bells that still can ring

Those look delicious, Mrs. R! Maybe when I'm sitting around with nothing to do in the US (and plenty of cooking utensils and 2 dishwashers!) I'll make all the yummy stuff off PW's site that has me drooling.
