I'm baking my first seeded bread today. Normally I just do plain ole whole wheat, so I'm pretty excited! Hopefully it turns out okay.

Homemade American biscuits, for the first time. Came out really yummy! :) I smothered one in apple butter for breakfast. ;D

Used this recipe:

I made a batch of Cooking Light's pumpkin bread (though I added sultanas!) on Friday night, and since it made two loaves, we kept one at home for us, and took the other up to Sheffield as our contribution to a "pudding party" our friends took us to.

I'm having a slice this afternoon with my tea, taken from our home stash. mmm.

Today I made apple muffins AND a full batch of gingerbread cookies using our plentiful Halloween cookie cutters. The little gremlins of the moorings are trick or treating tonight so they'll get a bag of gingerbread each.

Eve's pudding (apple topped with sponge).  Someone in the village keeps passing apples on to me so I keep having to think of ways to eat them!  I've also got at least four bags of frozen apples in the freezer!!
