Yum! I love lemon!

Yesterday I made the Barn brack recipe from the first Leon cookbook. OMG so good and so ridiculously easy. I'm totally making it again, and I have a slice to go with tea this afternoon...

Just baked some pumpkin bread.  Makes me think of my Grandma every time I do it.  She would bake pumpkin and zucchini bread every year at  the holidays.  [smiley=chef.gif]

Buttermilk biscuits. It's the first time I've ever made them and they are great (though some are flatter than others due to my flattening and cutting ineptitude  :P).

Friday was our Lighting Up Party (moorings tradition) so I baked the Baking Bites Pumpkin Whoopie Pies with Salted Caramel Filling, which went down REALLY well and I've got a bunch of icing leftover, too. I also made a batch of my mom's Butterscotch Brownies using my husband's new Baker's Edge pan, too, since they're super quick and easy.
