Sounds yummy..... Yesterday i baked some homemade peanut butter cookies.. ohhh yummmy.. and also some molasses sugar cookies. ohhhh sooo yummy.. both from my grans old handwritten recipies.. both made with crisco that i had brought back from last trip to the states..
Boy oh boy did my flat smell simply scrumptious yesterday..

Mmmm, molasses cookies.

I like peanut butter cookies, but no one in the family likes peanut butter except me.  :\\\'(

How anyone could not like peanut butter cookies i just don't understand.. LOL.. Ohhh well ... Have freinds coming over this evening so majority of cookies will be gone pretty quick i imagine lol..

Last thing I baked was a fresh pizza base (wholemeal) - I topped it off with sliced mushrooms, made a tomato sauce to layer, and grated cheese over it, and popped it in the oven!

strawberry cupcakes (made from a Duncan Hines mix bought in Lupe Pintos) with vanilla buttercream frosting... whipped up from scratch.  ;)

used this recipe, and substituted sour cream (made more liquid with milk) for buttermilk:

How'd  they turn out? Never thought about using sour cream. Sounds a reasonable idea. Someone told me years ago to use a tblsp of lemon juice to a cup of milk and have never thought to see if there were other options.
Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.
