Liz, there are variations, too. I like one that uses frozen hashbrowns on the bottom, pancetta, and eggs. Of course you can do vegetarian versions, too!

Thanks! Bmore sent me a recipe and I found some more online, I think I'm going to do it next weekend.

Mmmmm. Love them! Hashbrown, spinach, cheese, mushrooms. Drool!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Pizza. I half-baked an extra one and put it in the freezer for a rainy day.

Some very yummy scones thanks to kdunk27's recipe from this thread:

I used dried cherries in them and they were so fab.  Went out and got clotted cream and strawberry jam just for them.

Just did the raspberry cornmeal muffins expat posted the recipe for. Very very good. I don't have a pastry bag, so just did some plain and some baked right into the muffin (spoon some batter in the cup, drop in jam, cover with more batter). Haven't tried these yet so will report back!

Spice cake.

In the US I lived at 6000', and I had forgotten how easy it is to bake at sea level!  ;D

Cookies'n'Cream Cupcakes

Cookies'n'Cream Icing

Raspberry-Chocolate Chip Blondies (the ones I made for the party were chocolate chip free, for people in attendance who don't care for chocolate.)

Doggie treats!  Much cheaper this way and I get to use my cookie cutters!  Not that the dogs care, but, it makes me happy.  They love their peanut butter bones!

Not exactly real baking, but the kids and I made a cake last night.  Started with a chocolate cake mix, then grated up a few sections of a Terry's chocolate orange and added it to the batter.  Served w/whipped topping sprinkled w/chocolate orange 'curls'.  It was really yummy!!!
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

You got those from Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World, didn't you?  If I could, I'd marry that book. [smiley=smitten.gif]

ETA:  Duh, if I'd actually paid attention I would have found your links. ::)
