Fudge with cashews. Attempting peanut butter fudge later on....

Haven't done it yet, but baking of pumpkin cranberry scones is imminent.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

A birthday cake for kid1...she turned 14 yesterday!!!  :o
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

Not actually baked anything yet, but I've just made the mincemeat for the mince pies...my first attempt.

If these pies AND my first attempt at pudding screw up, my mum will kill me.  At least I know (I hope!) I can rely on my pastry.

Cookie fest:  russian teacakes, butterscotch haystacks and something called a casserole cookie which is a ball of dates, coconut and pecans.

Spritz, peanut butter cookies, and chocolate chips cookies.  Okay the last two aren't really Christmas cookies, but they are what I think we will eat.

Tomorrow, I'm baking fresh bread to have with our Christmas meals!   :)

Last night gingerbread men and coloured sugar covered shortbread.  Today applesauce cake and some kind of rolls for Xmas dinner.

Pumpkin pie, snowflake cookies, orange cranberry walnut relish, chocolate chips and oatmeal chocolate chips.

I want to make a shoo-fly pie next but we are going away for Christmas to a diabetic's house.  Not a good idea for them.

Pecan balls and gingerbread snowflakes

Gingerbread is a bit of a bust though..think I put too much flour in because the dough keeps cracking.  Definitely not an easy recipe to only get 15 cookies from!!

Vanilla bean cookies and chocolate chip bars. Might do an apple pie but since I have to work tomorrow that will have to wait until Christmas day....

Vicky

I'm missing having mince pies this year.

Will be baking cookies for Santa.  Probably chocolate chip.
