Finally tried a recipe I've been holding on to for ages. Orange chocolate chip cookies, soooo good, dh didn't leave but 5 for the cookie jar.

They almost taste like a Jaffa cake but without the jelly part. They're basically a chocolate chip cookie but with orange zest and a bit of orange extract.  I can post the recipe tomorrow if you'd like it. They were super easy and very yummy.

Nigella's Fairy Cakes and Christmas Fairy cakes for a New Year party.

I got bought How to be a Domestic Goddess for Christmas, so my oven is going to be on overtime until I've made everything in there!

If I can get up off the sofa, I'm making chocolate pudding cake shortly.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Oh no! Guess the cake mix idea didn't fly very well?
