Oh no! Guess the cake mix idea didn't fly very well?

i couldnt get them to be chewy... they were decidedly cakey.   :(

I made banana bread last week and now just waiting for the timer to go off on the Nestle semi-sweet/peanut butter chip cookies that are in the oven.

Spicy oatmeal muffins (Mrs Pink's recipe) with dried cranberries.  Quite tasty!

I've been baking too many chocolate things lately.  I think I know what I will give up for Lent;-)

Oatmeal cookies with cranberries and coconut.  I took them into the office for a meeting and they were a big hit.  I used cinnamon and nutmeg to spice things up.  Am I the only one who thinks that cinnamon is not used as a spice for pies, cakes and cookies as much in the UK as it is in the States?  I pretty much want to add cinnamon to everything when I am baking!

as usual, choc-chip cookies!!  ;D  not using tollhouse morsels this time, though - dh and i finally joined costco and we're trying out the belgium choc chips that we bought there. :)
