Cornbread!
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

I think I need to go see if I have all the ingredients on hand to make cornbread, you've got me wanting some now!

Haven't baked anything in a while.  If I don't have everything for cornbread I may make carrot cake again.  ooh or I saw a recipe for Kiwi fairy cakes.  Might do that as I have kiwi to use up.

A birthday cake for my boyfriend, but the batter didn't work out (I can't really do the folding thing) so I had to go to Cold Stone and buy a cake for him.  :(

Cheat and use a blender on pulse  ;)  I swear that Nigella's sponge cake recipe is fool proof, and so easy, if you'd like to try again I'd happy to pass the recipe on.

Nigella's Victoria Sponge cake again...I can't get enough of this!

Vicky

I made cupcakes with her recipe two days ago...I also agree that its fool proof (either by using blender or hand mixing) and soo tasty!

I made a Red Velvet cake last night, with cream cheese icing. My fingers are stained red.

It's one of those sainsbury's recipe cards.  Says to add a peeled and chopped kiwi to a fairy cake mix (I'm going to use the be-ro book recipe) as you make it up, then cook following instructions on the pack.  When cool, place a slice of kiwi on top of each cake and brush with apricot jam.
