Baked all weekend. Saturday I made cranberry muffins with the leftover homemade cranberry sauce from last Sunday's Thanksgiving. Sunday I made banana muffins and then last night my daughters, yes little Emily too, made chocolate chip cookies. My older daughter got upset because Emily insisted that they add food color. But it was nice and seasonal because we ended up with green chocolate chip cookies.

Fake beef and real ale pie, then a chocolate and apple flan that I made up as I went along just to use the left over pastry...

Er....sort of!  It's in my head...I tend not to do recipies for pie fillings, or if I do I make my own adjustments!

I'll jot it down and PM later.

Well not me that baked, but DH. Came home last night and he has the weirdest grin on his face. Says he has something to tell me and hopes I won't be upset. I start to panic when he ways "well, I used the bananas you were saving to make bread with and went ahead and made it. Here, have a taste!"

My response: "Um, well, um that's really nice sweetie, it looks great" while trying to choke down banana bread that tastes like he put a cup of salt in instead of sugar [smiley=bleck.gif]

Bless him for trying, but soooo bad.

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon
