2.  I'm walking home which takes a blissful hour and ten minutes
3.  I'm going to have the lounge to myself when I get home
4.  I'm making myself a nice cocktail and putting my feet up watching an episode of Boston Legal before the rest of the crew arrives home.
5.  We're having leftovers so I don't have to cook.

Friday is still relatively young here, but...

1. Overslept so was nearly late getting elder dd to school.

2. Am coming down w/a cold, right ear clogged, terrible tinnitus.

3. Elder dd is playing in a 'championship' game for a church basketball league this afternoon.

4. Am taking my girls + my 6yo nephew to see 'Night at the Museum' (finally!)

5. Elder dd has decided she's cooking us dinner.  Some pork chop recipe involving salsa and maple syrup...  ???

1. I don't have any plans tonight and for that, I am very grateful.  Curl up on the sofa and read a good book.
2. It is bitterly cold outside (10 F with a wind chill that makes it feel like -15 F). Brrrrr!
3. I found Odwalla OJ at the store this morning and it has made my day!
4. Found out that a really good friend is pregnant!  Yay!!  :D
5. Found out another good friend is going to start trying to get pregnant soon!
6. I got snuggles from my dogs this morning.  It was so very sweet.

Okay, more than five but, most were good!
I am the architect of my destiny.

1.  Crappy day today -- I'm giving this 'promotion' 6 months (they all but begged me to apply then threw me into the deep end) & that's until May 27, to be precise.  If it's not consistently any better by then, then I'm asking for my old (lower-paid, less hassle, low stress) job back or I'm walking.  Ok I might give it a few days more just so I can say I worked at this company for one year - on my CV.

2.  Steve's out at the pub with his work mates - so I have the house to myself for now.

3.  I've started on the vodka in cran.

4.  I'll be making easy Tex-Mex for tea in a bit.

5.  Went out for lunch with work mates to a Chinese buffet - not a place I really fancy, but it was another girl's choice.  My friends at work are ace, so I would hate to leave altogether.

1. Woke up to -3 degrees F temps BEFORE wind chill!  :o  :\\\'( Not fun, that's why I don't live in Alaska.  ;)

2. Broke my sunglasses, the bridge of the sunglasses  ??? Expensive pair, but had them for about 4 years, so I guess I did well...

3. Had boss tell me he'd do as much as he can to help me find a job in England and that I'd have a job waiting for me at my school if I ever want it.

4. Filed tax returns.  ;D

5. Relaxing with tv, talking to boyfriend, and having a glass of wine.  ;D

3. Having my favorite cocktail at the moment.

4. Have nothing planned for the weekend - my favorite too.

5. Started downloading favorite music videos from the 80's - Duran Duran, Rick Astley and Bananarama so far!  [smiley=guitarist.gif]
