Friday Five!

I've just got up this morning and read my post above, and cannot remember what 'Sandra' said or did that made me go 'awwww'!   

Hee hee!!!

1. This has not been a good week at all.
2. Have a funeral to attend either Saturday or Monday, details are not finalized.
3. DD is sick with sinus crud again.
4. Two huge projects dumped on me at work that are kicking my butt.
5. But I've lost a few pounds! 

1. Last day of work before 1 glorious week of vacation!!
2. Woke up all snuggled up in DF's arms.  So nice.
3. Had a horrible migraine last night and DF rubbed my temples until I fell asleep allowing me to get the sleep I needed.
4.  Left over Indian food for lunch! Yum!
5.  Happy dogs giving DF and I morning cuddles.

1. Today was my last day at my job
2.  I am going to a party tonight
3.  I am taking my dog out for a nice walk in a few minutes
4.  Might have chinese for dinner tonite
5.  TGIF!!!

1. My ankle is feeling a bit better.
2. I hobbled out of the house to see a film and it was luvley!
3. After a fab thunderstorm this morning, it's now glorious blue skies.
4. Despite an upheaval in my personal life, I feel strangely optimistic/happy.
5. I still have 2 days off to go! 

1.  Six more weeks and I'll be in Ibiza
2.  Got all the laundry done
3.  Hopped the bus down to my health food store and stocked up on goodies
4.  Making Roasted Red Pepper & Sweet Potato soup for dinner
5.  On my second glass of Pinot Grigio, with another bottle chillin in the fridge.

1) I met grace in York today.
2) We went to Bettys!
3) Lovely day out, great company & York is such a beautiful city with the Minster at its core.
4) Got home & got the shopping done just before the rain set in.
5) Now it's supposed to rain all weekend. :\\\'(

1.  My fiance has left me all alone (he's at an overnight camping stag party) so I am happily reading a pile of books and eating chocolate.

2.  I've still got to practice my music a bit more and work out a set list for our gig in the park on Sunday.

3.  I've got 2 episodes of CSI (Las Vegas) downloaded to watch that I fell asleep on earlier in the week.

4.  It's cool and raining (that's ok) and I am marvelling over the fact that it is most likely inhumanly hot and humid back in Philadelphia.

5.  I'm thinking about what I'll make for dinner tomorrow night for when my fiance gets home --chana dal maybe?

1) Making a blackberry pie today (I didn't get it made yesterday).
2) I have a mountain of ironing to be done.
3) Going into Leeds tonight for dinner out - a work friend's birthday celebration.
4) If time permits (I don't rush anything on my days off!), may do a bit of shopping in town this afternoon - need to get my friend's b'day pressie in any case.
5) The forecast for the weekend (right now) doesn't look too bad - maybe we'll get a walk in!  I've not been out since our rainy 80-mile trek last month!

3. Teenagers are almost definitely taking the 10 year old swimming
4. There's SUN!
5. Grandma is taking the ten year old out this afternoon!  Freedom twice in one day!

1) DH and I are making pizza (from scratch) for dinner 
2) I plan on drinking a whole bottle of Rose tonight (its been a long week!)
3) I dont like Charley or Tracy and one of them is evicted from BB tonight
4) My parents are moving from NY to NC today
5) I've just eaten a cookie

Scratch those two for me!  I've arranged to take my friend out next week instead.  As the day progressed, I really didn't want to go into town on my day off & roofing contractors (as it happens) are coming 'round later.  So, as a replacement...

3) Staying home, enjoying the sun being out - cocktails, anyone?
4) Tucking into leftover Mexican food with DH tonight & watching Como Agua Para Chocolate on DVD...as well as enjoying Como Zarzamoras Para Torta!

1.  Rented Premonition with Sandra Bullock going to watch it tomorrow
2.  Started a new job and survived the first week
3.  Fingers crossed the weather will be nice enough for walks on the seafront
4.  Pay day this week
5.  TGIF

1. finished up work for my holidays
2.  nice 1:1 with my foxy boss
3.  have eaten nachos for dinner for the last 3 nights
4.  aforementioned foxy boss showed me his photo album of 3 years spent in San Francisco
5.  8.2% cider

I kept wanting to do my Friday Five yesterday!  Thought it was Friday all day yesterday - lol!!!

1)  Beautiful sunshine & clean laundry on the clothesline!
2)  Going into Leeds today for errands & to meet hubby for lunch.
3)  Planning to join a gym while I'm in town.
4)  Steve has promised to repair our front garden gate this weekend.  (We've been waiting for a run of good weather, and well - as we all know, it's taken its sweet time.)
5)  The lavender is well in bloom & the bees are busy all over it!  (I really love that.)
