Friday Five!

1. going to the gym tonight to work off the lovely meal out with friends last night

2. getting through today's jobs at a satisfactory rate

3. nearly done Xmas shopping

4. Ugly Betty's back on tonight!

5. glass of red tonight for me

1. Office is very quiet today and I have no motivation to work.
2. Not looking forward to packing this weekend.
3. I want to go home and take a nap.
4. It's cold, dreary and windy outside - love it.
5. Off to the grocery store after work.

1.  Just took a 5 mile walk to the abbey and back again--it's cold out but I bundled up! 

2.  Made 2 big pots of yummy tomato-y veggie soup--one to freeze and one to eat tonight! 

3.  I'm feeling happier and more enthusiastic about my music lately. 

4.  Thinking about how busy it is back at my old work today (Black Friday!).

5.  Wondering what I should do about a very good friend who seems to not want to contact me for some reason. 

1. The child forgot her football boots today which meant me walking an extra mile and being 20 min. late to work.
2. I'm doing well with the Christmas shopping.
3. The husband is out tonight so we're having PizzaGoGo.
4. Things are calm at work.
5. I have stacks of housework to do this weekend.

1.  I stroked Douglas' hair while he was sitting miserable and hungover at his desk today. (He's my boss, and i've got a crush on him.  Yes, i do know that i am completely ridiculous... but, it's kind of fun to have a crush, especially when you know it's not going anywhere!)

2.  Had pumpkin & chilli soup for lunch

3.  Made a good impression on some of the engineers at work.

4.  Got some Lush through the post

5.  Unfortunately, it was a bad hair day

1. My little one is sick.
2. Will finish up most of our packing this weekend.
3. Closing on our house Monday!
4. My hair looks like crap.
5. Drinking a pepsi now - will be having some rum in a pepsi later on this evening due to this day.

3.  Our landline phone is broken, i discovered, when i tried to phone DH to get him to start the dinner.

5.  I saw a member of the Royal Family.   Didn't meet him, though!

1. Found out I got a job in my field!  Woo hoo!
2. Have spent the remainder of the day searching for places to rent near new job.
3. Spent other part of the day looking for a good used car.  Not much luck there.
4. Thrilled that we get to move out of MIL's house.
5. DH brought a fab history magazine home for me today as a congrats gift.

i do it all the time, cos i cant stand wearing makeup/mascara, etc.
They look fine... just like i've got a bit of mascara on.

1.  It's my birthday!
2.  It was a very stressful day at work.
3.  My DH did very well in making up to me...flowers, cashmere sweater, cake, dinner, etc.
4.  DH got me tickets to a great musical tomorrow night!
5.  I'm going on holiday on Monday!!!!

1. I actually remember 10% off day at House of Fraser for the MAC Brushes for the 18 year old.
2. The girl at the Boots counter overly quizzed me about Travel Sickness pills.
3. Work was OK this week.
4. We had takeout pizza for the second Friday in a row!
5. I'm going away on Sunday with my friends!!! No kids! No husband!  YAY!

1) It's Friday - hooray!
2) I got my British citizenship ceremony invitation in the post today!
3) I'm entertaining a friend over for tea tomorrow - cooking & cleaning to do tonight.
4) I think a bottle of wine or a cocktail is calling my name right now.
5) Only 17 more shopping days before Chrimbo - boo!

4.  a guy at work had asked me if i could pick something up for him while i was in Germany, so i did.  When i gave it to him today, he asked how much he owes me, and i said 'nothin...  just a Christmas kiss' and he grinned and said 'i can't wait!'
