2.  my silver shoes arrived and look fab with my chrimbo party outfit

Ooooooo - look at you! :)

4.  a guy at work had asked me if i could pick something up for him while i was in Germany, so i did.  When i gave it to him today, he asked how much he owes me, and i said 'nothin...  just a Christmas kiss' and he grinned and said 'i can't wait!'  ;D

Guess we know how your Christmas work do is all going to go down... ;) :P

I got my British citizenship ceremony invitation in the post today!

Woo hoo!   ;D

1.  Walked to Borders today and found some really nice, really inexpensive Christmas cards to send to my family (we can't afford gifts for them this year, unfortunately) while getting a total of an hour's walk in for exercise.  ;D
2.  Had a Gingerbread Latte at the Starbucks (DH told me to treat myself despite finances--awwww) inside Borders.
3.  Am excited about seeing properties to let tomorrow (yay freedom from MIL!).
4.  Finally have my own mobile phone, yay!
5.  DH had an interview for a very good job on Thursday and we are waiting on pins and needles for the decision.  If he lands it, our financial issues will be nill.

1.  I made the walls and clock tower for my gingerbread creation this year- a chocolate factory theme based on my 3 yr olds suggestion (which I am taking way too far- chutes, conveyor belts, vats, etc)
2.  My father is having open heart surgery next week and I hope my seeing him last weekend wasn't the last time.....feeling very far away from home/ extended family at the moment.
3.  The wedding I went to last weekend in Milwaukee was superb and the food was out of this world....and it snowed.
4. My sister just announced her engagement and bridezilla is an understatement.
5. Not looking forward to Christmas for a few reasons....and feeling blah bah humbug.

1) I have this Friday off work - yaye!  (using up some final bits of annual leave time) :D
2) It's really cold & frosty here so far today - brrrrr! [smiley=elf.gif]
3) Been putting together a list of my contact phone numbers again after losing my mobile this week - grrrrr. >:(
4) I really hope it warms up even just a little because I want to go into town this afternoon. :)
5) I think that with everything that has been going on in my life lately, I am losing my grip on sanity! [smiley=dizzy2.gif]

1.  I just remembered I have to give Mrs.R my phone number for her new phone--this time I will give her the *correct* number!

2.  Going out to dinner tonight with hubby's work people--going into Bradford for Indian food!

3.  It is quite cold out but if I push  myself I can get bundled up and go for a walk.

4.  I'll spend a good amount of time practicing today.

5.  I'm making a chana dal curry to freeze to have maybe this weekend for dinner.

1. Got my new car today (well, new to me car) and I love it!
2. Drove my car in a scary roundabout and didn't crash!  DH congratulated me!
3. We are soooo broke with all this setting up house business, but, we should be better in February (after I get my first paycheck end of January).
4. We are looking at two more houses on Saturday and I hope that we land one of them so we can live like a normal married couple.
5.  Got two lovely cards in the post from fellow UKYer's and they made me smile!

1. Mailing off my Christmas cards and a package for azroomie (promised weeks ago) tomorrow - everything is going out late due to our move so if you were on the list and get your card late I'm sorry!  :-\\\\

2. Decorated our tree last night - finally starting to feel at home in our new house.

3. DD's room finally being set up tomorrow, had to wait for the paint to be finished. That will clear up a huge amount of space since her furniture and toys will be in the proper place.

4. It's Friday and we get to sleep in tomorrow. Yay!!!

5. Officially broke after writing the check to the plumber yesterday - had a leak from one of the bathrooms. And we still have several gifts to buy.  :P
