4. My housemate is having a christmas party tomorrow and I'm looking forward to eating the rice krispy treats I made today!

5. Must start packing for my trip to the US on Wednesday!

yes, one of them... i had 3 parties to go to , and was going to wear the shoes for all 3 to try and get my money's worth!

Don't worry... there's still next Wednesday!

1. Last day at work and then four days off.
2. Came into work with damp hair and no makeup.  SCARY
3. Rained all afternoon yesterday and DD did not want to get out so I have to finish my shopping today. 
4. I'm looking forward to the time between Christmas and New Year - still festive but no holiday rush, shopping, ect to get in the way - just relax and enjoy!
5. I'm hungry.

1.  I'm making a big pot of home made pasta sauce.

2.  After today my hubby will be off from work for 2 weeks!

3.  A movie I've been wanting to see has come in the mail today.

4.  I've got lots of chocolate for later on tonight.

5.  I finally found my mom a nice birthday card but had to go with one that didn't say "mum" or "mother" since either word does not quite fit.  Neither does "mummy" for that matter! 

1. I am very close to being finished Christmas shopping.
2. I had a lovely coffee out with work mates.
3. We're watching Christmas DVDs this afternoon.
4. The husband won loads of wine and goodies at work.
5.  I found a cheesey High School Musical Christmas card for .99p

2. It's all frosty outside and looks like a Xmas card
3. Been watching Xmas music videos for the last hour!
4. Managed to pick up all the animal shaped cookie cutters off the floor and hide them without Mr 3 year old noticing and going into meltdown
5. Remembered everything I needed at Tesco today so no need to go there again til after Xmas.

1.  Got to the supermarket and back before it got too crazy (just a bit crazy)
2.  Made what smells like the most delectable green bean casserole the world has ever known
3.  Wrapped all my bf's stocking presents, so now am very nearly finished
4.  Cat was getting in the way of wrapping, so gave him one of his presents early - and he went completely mad! 
5.  Having dinner tonight with some great friends and getting a lift there and back

1) The biggie - Christmas shopping done this afternoon, finally!  <whew>
2) No more work until next year!
3) Lunch out today with some work mates & we had a great b*tch session about a real b*tch in our office.
4) Finally got me some boozy mince pies from Marks & Sparks.
5) Hopefully snuggling in with hubby tonight & maybe watching It's a Wonderful Life together.

ETA:  Re #5 - but he's at the pub now, so it may end up being a 'night of "fun" with a slightly/horribly pissed person'...

1.  Somehow have made it back to London in one piece.
2.  Am feeling very pleased with myself for having accomplished so much.
3.  Just had a good chat with my dad and at the end he said 'well, come on home!' 
4.  My dad said it's all snowy and white in Chicago - yay!  I can't WAIT!
5.  Am going to my aunt and uncle's house tonight to relax and be taken care of Indian stylee...the best!

1. Massive skivving at work today looking for jobs and flats online.
2. Bought loads of M&S party food just for myself!
3. Escaped, Mission Impossible-style, from the office Christmas party through back exit.
4. Agency didn't send my wages, so no pay until after the New Year. 
5. Ordering more Lush stuff for my niece. She'd never heard of them and traded me her Xbox for a Bath Bomb! Nice!

1.  my friend's dad dropped dead with an aneurysm this morning.
2.  brought home 6 bottles of wine given to me as gifts, including one that i looked up on the internet, which is worth over £50!
3.  cried a lot
4.  got a really stupid set of fake-tanning products in the post, instead of the Olay stuff that i requested.
5.  was wearing pyjamas within 5 minutes of arriving home from work
