1. My kid and husband are driving me up the wall......any takers? ::)
2. I wish summer would get here so I don't have to deal with school crap and the Stepford wives that are the mothers of half the kids that go to her school.
3. Going to have junk food for lunch.
4. It's quiet in the office today.
5. I have a project I need to work on - but can't find the motivation today.

1. Last official day of vacation (weekend doesn't quite count) and I had to go in to work for a little bit since I didn't get to finish up everything on Wednesday.
2. DB gets to drive himself to work for the first time and I get to experience the inconvenience of not having a car to just take off if I want. At least it's worth it!
3. Because DB is driving himself to work, I won't have to go get him and can finally cook a dinner and not have to worry about leaving it to go get him.
4. Hoping my parsley will spring back to life like my basil.
5. Working up the motivation to make the cheesecake I need to do.

Congrats on the boyfriend getting his driver's license.  Did he have a good time with the statie?  I had an absolutely horrible Massachusetts driving license experience.  I hope my UK one goes better than those tests went-  because it was torture.  I failed the first time- the guy told me to exit the parking lot by taking a right.  Then he told me to take a right, right back into the parking lot.  A total of 2 minutes, and he said, okay, he didn't even let me pull into a space, and he goes "Get out of this car, you can't drive at all. You failed." Great.  And I had gone with one my classmates and everyone in english class knew we had gone together (him first, than me) because he came back and told everyone that he took the test and he passed and I didn't, and I was mortified.  So 10 days later, when I retook it, he totally remembered me and decided that he needed to make me do every manoeuvre under the sun.  Rotaries, one way streets, parallel parking (no one has to do this, but I did!), hill parking, hand signals, back up in a straight line while on said hill, back into a space, and then some highway work, and the he asked me I think 10 different theory questions as I was going.  It was trauma inducing  Everyone else I know, my friends and all 3 sisters, had to exit the space, left, right, traffic light, go into the parking lot again, park straight forward.  5 minutes and they passed.  Mine I was like 45 minutes.

Woah!! That's horrible! DB just had to exit the parking lot, parallel park, talk about how he would park on a hill, do a three point turn, and go back to the parking lot. It did take all of five minutes and he was shocked when she said he passed! He did forget to use his directionals during the three point turn (I would have made the same mistake) and he said the wrong direction for turning the wheels when parking on a hill (he was picturing England and would have been correct if we were in the UK). He actually drove to the registry, pulled in the wrong way, the tester had been told about it, and still passed! That's too bad your tester was so mean!

Yeah for your DB!!!  Glad it was relatively painless.  (Glad I wasn't the only one who had to parallel park there, either, hehehe)

1.  I snagged another great find at a charity shop--a Monsoon hot pink cropped sweater with 3/4 length sleeves and one button.  It is very soft and fluffy like cashmere.

2.  Going to get a massage tomorrow in Manchester--it's a birthday present from my MIL!

3.  Hubby just brought me some McVites's Hob Nobs from the Tesco Express.

4.  My mom will be here in just over two weeks!

2.  Completed all training goals for the week- 9 hrs of aerobic exercise....mainly swimming.
3.  Improved my breaststroke on technique tips I got over the internet.

1.  Thank god the moving went well yesterday.

2.  We might not spend the ENTIRE weekend moving...maybe I can relax part of the day Monday!

3.  The week is nearly OVER.

4.  I was in to work early for the first time in ages.

5.  It was amazingly bright and sunny this morning in Edinburgh (not so much now though).

1. Hooray for no work today (one of my normal days off)!

2. Despite splitting 2 bottles of wine with DH last night, I don't feel as bad as I thought I might have today.  Just a little tired really.  Hooray for not-so-bad hangovers!

3. I was at the gym (finally!) again this week & I can feel my shoulder, arm & pectoral muscles again - only a little bit sore but in a good way.  Hooray for muscles!

4. We are planning to be out walking this weekend - training/preparing for the Cumbrian Way in June.  (http://www.ramblers.org.uk/info/paths/cumbria.html)  Now that the weather is getting better, I'm starting to look forward to it.  Hooray for a week spent walking in the English countryside!

5. Hooray for long hot Lush baths!  (to which I am now headed & I'm going to do a Marilyn treatment on my hair -  hooray for being blonde!)

PS - I told my workmates that I bought some Lushie stuff that's supposed to make me even more blonde!  They had the audacity to ask me ;) -- do you mean it's going to make your hair blonder, or you're going to - you know - be 'more blonde'?! [smiley=laugh4.gif]
