1. Got my tier 4 sent out with priority processing this week.

2-5.  My dad has been having chest pains lately and he finally went for a stress test Monday. He failed miserably and had a heart cath on Tuesday. During that, they found that a major artery in his heart was 99% blocked but were able to fix it right then. They said he was literally days away from a heart attack, but since he got it fixed before that happened, ended up with no damage to his heart. He's now doing great and is back at work.

1. The Celebration of Life will be held for my sister Sunday. I think it is going to be very therapeutic. I'm slowly seeing cracks in the gloom where sunshine is trying to peek through. Hubby has to work, but Chris will be going. He's been around since I was 9, he and my brother were 10 and she was 2, so he is family and wants to be there.

2. I'll be starting a new part time position at work, so I will be working three days in one department and two days in another. I needed work pants for the new part, which required a bit of shopping. By hitting second hand shops, I found a pair of pants, some capris, a skirt and a top for $12.

3. Thanks to some Canadian air pushing down our way, we've enjoyed a few days in the mid 70s. Loving that in July!

4. I'm trying to convince hubby is isn't too early to start packing if we are flying September 16. He works on the theory that since we are staying with his parents and they have a washer, a few pairs of pants and a few shirts is enough for two weeks. I work on the theory that I need to take jeans and t-shirts for sightseeing, metal goddess wear for nights out with friends, a dressier outfit or two in case, and a few pairs of shoes. All of this takes planning.

5. I watched my first Christmas movie of the year today. I generally watch a few over the summer, and more heading into fall.

I would totally take you up on that--picking up your bricabrac--if I wasn't so crazy busy this week!

1.  Heading up to the Dales this morning with a friend to walk and stay the night in a B&B as a special treat!  More walking to follow tomorrow. [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

2.  As Monday is my day off this week and we go on holiday very early Sunday morning next week, I'll have very little time to get organized and packed for our trip to Ireland.  I'll have to do it little by little after work each night towards the end of the week.  :-\\\\

3.  I've not really had a chance to get excited for our holiday, I've just been too busy and often stressed at work.  But I am looking forward to it!  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

4.  Gonna miss Dylan, that big ol' softie.  :(

5.  Listened to my Irish CDs at work yesterday in the stock room (I usually just have the radio on, especially when there are volunteers with me).  My favorite young volunteer was happy to listen as well.  She's only 14 but so mature in some ways it's scary.  She writes poetry, is a self-professed 'deep thinker', loves Harry Potter, and wants to by a psychiatrist.   :)

If it's still there in 2 and a half weeks when I get back in holiday we'll see what I can do!

1. On holiday as of Sunday but not ready and haven't had time to even get excited about it.  Still have two busy days of work ahead of me.  :-\\\\

2.  Went up to the Dales on Sunday and stayed over with a friend--the weather was amazing and the farmhouse B&B and the couple who ran it were amazing!  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

3.  Am going to miss Dylan when we go!  :(  Mrs.Robinson will be feeding the fishies and changing Dylan's outside water and looking out for him when she can.  :)

4.  Another hot and sunny day ahead so gotta get the washing out on the line before I go into work.  8)

5.  Been watching John Bishop's Australia.  I have a greater appreciation for him now, also didn't realize he was vegetarian.  :)

1. This is my last Friday and Saturday off work, other than requested days. I will be working Fri and Sat from here on out.

2. Due to a co-worker wanting to switch days, hubby is off work today with me, but has to work tomorrow. I just flip flipped my days, so I am slobbing around watching tv with him and will clean house tomorrow.

3. Joey started a new trick bright and early this morning. He now copies the neighbors' smoke alarm. He is pitch perfect, and does all three loud bursts before a pause, then starting over. Seems every time they cook it goes off, so he hears it a LOT. Hope we can convince him to stop doing it.  ::)

4. My great nephew is now a mobile baby. He started crawling a couple days ago. I know it is a natural milestone, and something babies do. But we all have to gush like it is the greatest thing EVER when one of 'our' babies do it.  [smiley=smitten.gif]

5. My cousin Jessica had her baby a couple days ago. Her name is Lillian Faith and she is beautiful.  [smiley=smitten.gif]

1. On the way to Dance Camp this morning, my four year old puked up two meals all over herself, her dance clothes, and her car seat.  Had to drop the other one off and go to target to buy fresh clothes for the little one and rush her back...

2. They had their little 'end of the week recital' this morning. Precious!

3. Have been so tired this week, and HUNGRY and my boobs hurt, so after the respectable waiting time [2 days late], I peed on a stick...

4. I'm Pregnant.

5. Cleaning up the car seat at the carwash, I aimed the sprayer wrong and got vomit all over my face, hair, and cute cute outfit.

4.2 New Squish expected Sometime in April.

Thanks y'all!
I don't like miniature people AT ALL, but they're pretty cool once they are over four feet and can carry on an intelligent conversation.  It'll be nice to eventually have three of those ;)

Been a while since I played Friday Five

1.) Gigging tonight with two different bands Swing band and my 1920s band. Yay trombone and jazz!

2.) Bank holiday on Monday. Hooray for a 3 day weekend!

3.) Only a 3 day work week too, because I'm off next Friday, as my Latin band is playing at a music festival. Always fun!

4.) Our local section of CAMRA is hosting a new real ale tent, alongside with the main Black Isle Brewery beer being available  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] (last year they had an IPA which was gorgeous!) at the festival, so I'm really looking forward to some good beer too!

5.) Allotmenting, mountain biking, wine and beer making also in the pipeline this weekend. Busy busy!

Oh, just got an email about a beer festival going on locally too this weekend. Excellent!  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

Have a nice weekend UKY!

1. I ended up being off work today anyway. The other woman in my new department needed to trade days, so I am off today and working Monday for her.

2. Mom and dad both came up Wednesday. We worked on thank you cards for all the people who have been so supportive and wonderful the past few weeks, then did some sight seeing around town. After hubby got off work we all went to dinner.

3. August already! Where is the year going?

4. We now have everything paid for, for our trip, except our Underground tickets for the six days we will be in London and touristy things we pay for at the door.

5. We've both been working a lot. Two from hubby's department have quit and two from my department left to go back to college. Starting tomorrow I'm looking at an at least 8 day stretch before my next day off. We're not complaining because hubs wants an Xbox One for Christmas and I want a newer, snazzier laptop.

1. Brother and BIL are here for a couple of weeks and helping out a lot, so early pregnancy sleepiness has not resulted in total chaos.

2. Symptoms so far have been mild except for staggering exhausting and boobs increasing in size by 4 inches [I guess in honor of world breastfeeding week, lol].

3. Kids are at their Grandmama's for the weekend. Woot! Slept late, been car shopping, and now about to watch Orange is the New Black.

4. For some reason the air felt even fresher and cooler than normal at my Parent's house last night. I just laid in a lawn chair and listened to the crickets forever before i was ready to leave. Then on the way home my brother, BIL, and I were ridin' with the windows down and heads out the window.  It almost felt like fall...

5. My five year old little girl is starting kindergarten on Tuesday.  I'm going to melt down, I think.
