Hah!  Obviously.

Did you have a fever Monday night?  Maybe it was flu.  Whatever it was, I'm glad you're starting to feel better!

I didn’t, but I had all the signs of one, clammy/sweaty, shivering, eyelids felt on fire. I thought it was going to be the flu and I was not looking forward to it!

Thankfully it was not, and thanks :3 it seems I was given some mercy and spared from a longer illness

My Friday Five

1. It's my last day here in North Carolina.  I'm sad to be leaving my kids again but they are doing so great here, even without me.

2. I've gained so much weight this week plus I'm sure my gall bladder is going bad which is the cause of a lot of gastric issues I've been fighting over the last year. I had what I believe was my 2nd pain related attack yesterday.  I'm currently still waiting on my NHS referral letter to come in.

3. While I was here, I managed to change my name with the SSA and on my drivers license. 

4. My ex husband offered me financial backing if I want to start my own business. I've got lots of research to do when I get home.

5. Tacos for dinner tonight.

Oh, they look so grown up! And what a nice bunch!  Congratulations on having done it well. 

Those crisps I found (the jalapeño and cheese ones that my Tesco promptly stopped selling them after one shop) surprised me, and now I have renewed hope for British junk food.

I've not been able to find them anywhere.

They're on offer in my local Sainsbury's for £1 at the moment (normally £1.85)... I bought some at the beginning of this week. It's a large Sainsbury's Superstore though, so don't know if that makes a difference.

According to a Google search, they should in ASDA for £1 as well, and they're on the Tesco website for £1.99.

5.  My husband finds out today if his vasectomy was successful.  He's not looking forward to having to do it in a cup.

Not all vasectomy's are successful and the only way to know for sure is to have your specimen examined.

Yup!  Verifying that there are no more swimmers dramatically shoots the risk of a vasectomy baby WAY down.  The tubes could have potentially fused back together in the healing process.

Yep....just went down and mentioned this to my wife. The conclusion is......I don't know anything. I didn't get married until I was 49......that's my excuse......sticking to it....

Just wanted to show ya'll our first place trophies!
We are the 4th Section Scottish Brass Band Champions and we're heading to the National Competition in September!
