Is it Friday again?  Thank goodness for that!

1.  Went to dinner with hubby downtown--it was Lebanese food--plenty of veggie options.
The beetroot dip was sooo good!

2.  Met up with hubby's work friends after dinner--had coffee in the pub while everyone else was drinking beer, etc. because I'm so used to being asleep by 11 the latest.

3.  Going downtown again tomorrow--my fiddle is getting a routine check-up just to make sure everything is still in the right place after it was knocked a bit.  Then going to check out the health food store across the street from the music shop.

4.  Tomorrow and Sunday I will probably cook at least two different things and make double batches and freeze them for quick dinners, in preparation for the next two weeks at work which will be very hectic.

5.  Still debating whether or not I'm happy with my new haircut--it seems so short!

1) Happy 4th of July! :)
2) I am paying for the excesses of yesterday (LOTS of junk food, sweets, chocolate cake, takeaway pizza, red wine) with a tummy ache this morning. [smiley=sick.gif]  (and I feel greasy now, because we had bacon butties for brekkie)
3) Despite not feeling the greatest, I still work up early with DH for a bit of 'How's Your Father' before DH went to work... [smiley=blush.gif]
4) I am loving summer & can't get enough!!!! ;D  (summer, that is...)
5) Now I have to go clean & sort the house out like a madwoman, cos the in-laws are coming tomorrow & there's a ton of stuff to be done here. :(

Happy Friday!

1.) I woke up this morning and seriously thought it was Thursday.  I came into work seriously thinking it was Thursday. It wasn't until I turned my coworker said to me "Well at least its Friday" and I was like, "No, its Thursday, isn't it?" and she goes "Umm, no its Friday". So you can't imagine my excitement now -its like getting a few more hours of sleep!
2.) I'm going to see jousting tomorrow with a bunch of friends. Hope the weather is okay.
3.) I'm going to a chocolate themed dinner party this weekend
4.) I'm going out to the pub tonight for a leaving do for a coworker
5.) I hope to have time in between everything this weekend to hit a mountain bike trail. I have this very nice bike that is just dying for some action, besides going 5 minutes to work and back everyday!

2.  I have several packages to put together tonight for a massive mail run tomorrow.
3.  DH is back home tonight.  I haven't really seen him all week.
4.  Work has been a real pain since I got back from holiday and it shows signs of getting worse.
5.  Contemplating veggie curry for dinner, but, not so sure I feel like cooking.
I am the architect of my destiny.

1. Going to the pool tonight at our rec center.
2. Been on pins and needles waiting to hear back on a second interview for a great job - they said they would call and let me know if I did or did not get one by the end of the week - IT'S THE END OF THE WEEK.
3. Tacos for dinner tonight, burgers tomorrow night - we have ground beef we need to use up.
4. I so need a hair cut - I think I'm going to have it permanently straightened when I have it cut.
5. Found out our new couch will be a few weeks longer being delivered than what we were told, not happy about that.

2.) Kiddos are out of the house visiting friends and I got a lovely nap and house to myself :D.

3.) No cooking tonight :D getting favorite Mexican takeout that has the best shrimp tacos ever.

4.) Don't have to cook tomorrow either as my mother and both daughters have their birthdays this week and we're going out to our favorite Japanese place to celebrate :D.

5.) Looking forward to a day at San Francisco's Fisherman's wharf on monday to celebrate my kiddies' birthdays, just the 3 of us-18 & 12 :D. So happy that they still like to hang out with me and that we have so much fun together. I've found that I REALLY love the teen years  :o.

We are a nation that has a government -- not the other way around. And this makes us special among the nations of the earth. Our government has no power except that granted to it by the people. It is time to check and reverse the growth of government, which shows signs of having grown beyond the consent of the governed.
Ronald Reagan

In questions of power, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but bind him down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution. - Thomas Jefferson

1. FINALLY got to the farmer's market today. It's been a while since I've had fresh-picked veggies and just tried a tomato and it's heavenly!!
2. Went to Six Flags with some friends.
3. Am tired, but had a blast.
4. Some of the ride operators were making really annoying noises after saying thank you for riding. I complained, nicely. On a ride that is constantly loading and you're waiting in line for over an hour, it's VERY frustrating and everyone around me was complaining!
5. Got a new Middle Eastern vegetable at the farmer's market, can't remember what it's called though.
