Happy bank holiday weekend!
Albatross, those cinnamon rolls sound good... I wonder how they'd bake up in the pizza oven.

My graduation announcement was just a small card announcing the event. I didn't know what I wanted to do next, so there was no way I could've done what your nephew did!
My five:
1. It's not even 9am, and so far today I've sorted through our carrier bags (some are ready to be recycled, some are fine to re-use, and some aren't actually carrier bags at all, but things that should be "recycled with carrier bags; not at curbside"), started a BBQ pork shoulder in the slow cooker, folded a load of laundry, collected dishes from places that aren't the kitchen to start soaking them for this afternoon's washing up, and I'm about to do my daily French lesson. I usually roll over and manage to just open my eyes by this time.
2. My ILR appointment is Tuesday (!!!).
3. My husband is nearly overwhelmed with stress about the ILR application. He was fine with the FLR(M)s because our circumstances didn't change after the fiancee visa, so it was rinse&repeat. But now we've moved house within the last two years, and we own our house instead of renting, and he changed jobs less than two months ago. So we're a different category, and it's a lot of different paperwork. He liked it better when it was second-verse-same-as-the-first. He doesn't like change, and we've had so much change.
4. I've been providing guidance to a friend-of-a-friend on her visa application over the last several months, and I kept nudging her to join UK Yankee. She finally did, and you guys immediately spotted something in her application that I would not have spotted if she hadn't done a full documents list before she applied. You guys... I love you so much. You saved her a couple thousand dollars and so much distress, as she would have been refused. Once again, UK Yankee is the absolute best!
5. I bought food for grilling as I expect at least one beautiful day this long weekend. We might also try (again) at baking bread in the Uuni. (We tried a rye loaf last weekend, but it didn't rise sufficiently because the ambient temperature was too low and we don't have anything like "a warm oven" to put it in to help it along, and it didn't bake through inside before the outside went ... uh... very dark. But we have ideas for fixing these things, so we'll try again.)
