Friday Five!

1.  My dear, darling husband has got us another free cruise for March 2009! 
2.  I have survived Day 1 with the in-laws.
3.  Had a nice long chat with an old friend yesterday
4.  Two trips to Paris and one to London booked!
5.  Interviews proceeding along nicely

1. Already sick of being sick with this pregnancy!  Why can't it be smooth sailing like the first? 
2. Have my first prenatal appointment on Tuesday.
3. Got our tickets booked to visit Guernsey (my MIL birthplace) with my MIL next month.
4. Got our tickets booked to visit my stepson and his mom in Norway in September.
5. Really enjoying having my 14 year old niece visiting from the States this summer!

Yay! Its Friday!!

1.) Its finally Friday, after a really, really long week...
2.) Going to the Inverness Highland Games this weekend
3.) Going out for a friend's birthday lunch on Sunday
4.) I have a a gazillion things to do today at work and I don't know where to start
5.) I need a holiday, really bad and I don't have anything planned until my parents come in October!

1. More in-law horror this weekend.  Joy. 
2. Wearing a new perfume oil and I smell like dark rich honey spiced with nutmeg, lemon, and rosemary.  But it isn't foody, its gorgeous, sexy, and making me happy!
3. Going climbing on Sunday!
4. DH is cooking dinner tonight!  Hurray!
5. I am enjoying being veggie.  Surprisingly, I don't miss meat.

1) Going to a wedding tommorow and have picked out a BEAUTIFUL dress to wear
2) A girl that lives in our block of flats is going to the same wedding so we're sharing a cab... shes a bit strange but it gives me someone to talk to if DH wanders off.
3) Going to look for a new pair of shoes on my lunch to wear to said wedding
4) Getting a indian takeaway tonight for dinner.
5) Drinking dunkin donuts coffee out of my dunkin donuts mug at my desk.. life is good.. brought back both from America.

1.  feel very groggy today and can barely keep my eyes open!
2.  my doggie is waiting for me at home!
3.  today is payday!
4.  i'm on my own in the office... everyone else seems to be in various meetings.
5.  straightened my hair today and it looks nice.

Struggling to think of 5 things...

1) The weather here has been pretty much rubbish all week - boo.
2) My lovely builder is here again today!
3) I also have some other workmen outside putting up really TALL scaffolding on the side of our house - so the builder can finish pointing the very tip-top of the building.
4) I will probably make spag bol tonight, or maybe lasagna.
5) We are going to start tearing our master bedroom apart this weekend.

Mrs Robinson, just curious- is No.5 a metaphor for something else??



1.  Going home in three days
2. Spending money in US as opposed to UK- much less guilt!
3.  Seeing hubby in three days
4.  Eating at Wendy's one last time...

1. Had a good job interview today.
2. Work catered lunch in today.
3. DD is going on a four day trip with the grandparents starting tomorrow. I will enjoy the time with DH but we are sad because she has never been away from us for more than 24 hours in her whole seven years. Just another sign she is growing up.   :\\\'(
4. Going to a movie that does not involve cartoon characters this weekend but still not sure of what to see.
5. Have a massive headache.

1.  Had a yummy sweet potato curry cooked by my hubby tonight.  He has been cooking every night because my right hand is in a splint (may have a broken writst bone).  He also is doing all of the washing up! 

2.  I am working tomorrow and then three more long days and then we are on holiday! 

3.  Got 4 interesting psychology self-help-ish books out at the library today. 

4.  There is a frog living in our basement.  He changed his colour from green to the color of the basement floor--a chalky white-ish grey.   

5.  If it rains Sunday I am going to work on making my resume into a CV for future purposes.

Naaaah.  That was last night...   We're getting ready to re-do the master bedroom, so we have to tear the built in cupboards out (nasty things!  plus there is mold growing on the wall behind one, which we can't address until the cupboard is outta there) and rip the wallpaper/woodchip (or whatever it is layered on there & covered with paint-ugh) off the walls.  Once we have the room stripped down, then the builder can go to work replastering, etc - but if we do some of this ourselves, it will save us some ££££.

Friday!!!!!!! 

1.)  For the first time in a long while, I don't have any definite weekend plans... 
2.) Have got to get off my lazy bum and mow the lawn tonight, otherwise, its going to take over
3.) I need to start working on my critter for the critter exchange
4.) Its been an easy week for me, I spent two days at a Diabetes Holiday Camp (summer camp for kids with diabetes) instead of working, and I got paid for it too
5.) I'm looking forward to a lie in tomorrow

1. I've got the car today
2. The husband has a work do tonight so I have to stay awake to pick him up at the station.
3. I've been having insomnia all week.
4. I REALLY need to do housework but keep finding excuses not to.
5. My plans all seem to depend on other people lately.

1) DH is on a stag do this weekend in Dublin.
2) Im going to make chili con carne tonight with extra kidney beans since hes gone... he HATES kidney beans.
3) Going out tommorow for a hen night.. just around town, hope nobody sees me dressed like a fool..
4) Boaters makes the best coffee EVER and Ive just received about a years supply of it... im drinking it now out of my Dunkin donuts thermal cup
5) The weather is GORGEOUS! Wore my prescription sunglasses driving to work.. havent got my other glasses so hope it doesnt cloud up too much..
