Oh no Albatross.  Keep us posted and let us know anything we can do (donate things)!

Thanks KF... good news, though!  David's flat and all it's occupants are fine!  The flat above and to the left have a lot of damage, but looks like David had a lucky escape.

Wow, that's good! There still may be smoke and water damage, but in the scheme of things that's not too bad. Glad they are safe, I missed the earlier post about the fire not being at the train station. I hope your neighbour is OK too!

My neighbour is actually still in hospital.  But in a way that's good, cos hopefully it will mean they are actually DOING something to help her.  Seems to be a problem with her heart.  If she sits still she's ok, but anytime she moves at all... her heart rate goes crazy and she struggles to breathe.  She seems to be losing an awful lot of weight as well.

1.  OK, so the Wonder Years Kevin turned out to be Scottish, and the other guy still has not spoken, even when I blatantly said 'Good morning' directly to him... so he's probably not an American either.  However... there are 2 guys that have been in the training room all week, who I haven't clapped eyes on yet, and rumour has it that one of them is called 'Caleb'.   Biblical name... could have potential?

Checked with the trainer, and none of the guys in training have American accents!
The plot is thickening and pointing toward the guy who never speaks and rudely ignores people who say hello to him....

How scary!!

I know.  She's a single mum with a 15 year old daughter... I don't know if the kid is home alone or not.  I've chapped the door several times and got no answer, just to see if she needed anything.  I think I will message the mum in hospital and just say to tell her daughter to come up to mine if she needs any food or if she just wants some company, or if she needs a lift anywhere.

Oh no :( keeping her in my thoughts. It's nice you are looking out for her daughter, hopefully she's staying with family nearby!

1.  **it's PAYDAY!!!**
2.  weird night last night... got massively hit on by a girl,  heard some nasty news/rumour about one of my best friends, had terrible dry baby back ribs, half of which got boaked up, probably got nabbed by a speed camera and sobbed for an hour after finding out that my sponsor dog has finally been re-homed.
3.  got to remember to pick up a Boots.com order at the shop on my way home
4.  NOT working this weekend!
5.  Worst thing about being 55 -- facial hair!  It's like a full-time job keeping on top of it!  >:(

Don't just leave that without any explanation!  Hit on by a girl?  Boaked up? I don't know that word, is it something that lesbians do with ribs?  Enquiring minds want to know

According to Urban Dictionary, which I dared to open at work, it's vomit.  So sounds like the ribs didn't stay down!

Sorry you had such a sh*t night Albatross!  The weekend is bound to be better, right?  Has to be!

Those things were not in chronological order!  ;D
I ate some ribs, which were awful, so I boaked.
Then went to the pub and had the awful Gillian swarming all over me sniffing my neck, grabbing my hand, playing with my hair, touching my thigh, inviting me to come over to hers sometime.... she is married, and I'm as good-as married, so ... GONNAE NAW!  >:(
Then heard something bad about my friend, then got the speed camera aimed right at me as I flew over the Erskine Bridge at 15mph over the posted speed, then cried about the hound after I got home.

Is this a dog that you foster in your home?

Friday!!!!

1.  Feel like a proper sh*t mother this week.  On Tuesday my daughter had a settling in session at her school that she starts at in September so I didn't get to work until nearly 11am.  On Wednesday, she had a family picnic at nursery at 2:30 in the afternoon that I just couldn't get to, as I came in so late on Tuesday.  She was SOOO upset Wednesday night that she didn't have her Mommy or Daddy there.  Ugh, Mom guilt is at 100% right now.  I MUST NOT put work ahead of my little girl.  But it's so hard, I can't do everything.  But I need to try to.

2.  Going to try to make it up to her this weekend by going to a pick your own farm where SWEETCORN is in season.  Sweetcorn is her absolute favorite food in the world, so she is really excited.  Just going to spoil her with my time and attention this weekend.

3.  In a real quandary on what to do with the rental house.  Do we sell or keep it?  I think we are starting to lean towards keeping it and figuring out another way to finance our extension.

4.  Diet is going alright.  I've lost a solid 10 pounds.  I've started a new plan this week and hope to really stick with it and see some good results.  It will be nice to fit back into my pre-baby clothes.  Ready for my ultimate goal?  I want to be able to see my lady area when I look down!  Lol.  Got to have goals!  Once I get there, I will be happy.

5.  I've been a bit frustrated with my husband lately.  He's getting too focused on work and not enough on what really matters in life.  He does this from time to time.  Hopefully he snaps out of it soon.  :P
