Friday Five!

1. The sky is beautiful and blue with just a few fluffy clouds - makes me very eager for lunchtime!
2. It's been a really, really trying week at work, but I guess I've learned something or other. Regardless I've not been this happy for Friday in a long time.
3. Because of number 2 I've drank far too much wine and now I don't have any for tonight! 
4. DH's brother is moving to Thailand tomorrow.
5. Today is my mate Simon's birthday and I just ate a donut in celebration - mmmmm.

1.  Preparing for the dreaded money talk with my spendthrift boyfriend later today
2.  Wii Fit is a lot of fun, but I'm not sure it'll actually get me fit
3.  There was no hot water for my bath this morning
4.  I'm feeling terribly homesick
5.  Only my cat understands me

Maybe we should swap since I am more....."frugal" shall we say?  And other half would happily open windows and throw money out for the sheer joy of it.....  His motto: SPEND SPEND; tomorrow we can be poor!

1. Very productive morning making phone calls and getting my Barclays problem taken care of.
2. Blackberries are sprouting up everywhere in our garden.
3. Sinuses are acting up.
4. Have done Pilates and walked everyday this week.
5. I need to get a job.

No, we're the same! I'm the sane one financially (which is a scary thought itself), and he goes and buys toys for himself nearly every day!

1. I slept in until 11 am today! (very unusual for me)
2. Need to get my ars* in gear now & get some basic stuff done...laundry, shop for tea, etc.
3. Weekend ahoy! With no particular plans in mind - yaye!
4. Was happy to work only a 2-day week this week.
5. Think I'll be making Mexican food for tea, and hopefully a pudding too if I'm being energetic enough...but possibly not.

Oh, I get it!!  Men, eh??? 

1. Leaving for a weekend trip but have not packed a thing yet.
2. STILL waiting for an interview - the lady at the temp agency said the company was not in any hurry to do anything and she is 100% sure they will want to interview me. It's been over a week.
3. Still have a test to take before we leave because the house we are renting does not have internet.
4. Looking forward to a relaxing weekend away from housework and responsibility.
5. Came in early to get stuff done but as you can see I am goofing off here. 

1. Did the shopping by myself (DH actually likes to come with me but can't anymore).
2. Had a sunny breakfast outside with Sammy.
3. Not sure what the weekend plans are (except studying for KOL test) since it's supposed to pour buckets tomorrow. So much for another village show.
4. I'm POd because Tesco had the stripey Cath Kidston bags but I was too short of cash to get them.
5. Web cam with Mom on Sunday!

1. Quit one of my 3 jobs this week - ex-boss didn't handle it very professionally, but I feel stronger and relieved
2. Got the third book of the twilight series last night and it's all I can think about (that could be good or bad)
3. Might get to make some extra cash tonight if the restaurant is busy 
4. My cup of tea is kicking in and I'm starting to get cheerful 
5. I get to sleep in tomorrow!! 

1.   i don't normally take advantage of 'casual dress Fridays', but today I did
2.  because of no.1 above, i felt really uncomfortable and unprofessional all day, and even turned down an invitation to come to the executive block because i was embarrassed about my appearance.
3.  vowed 'never again' to no.1
4.  actually spoke the words out loud that i will be glad when our summer temp has fcked off back to university.
5.  everyone agreed with me! 

1) Bank holiday weekend!  Woohoo!  (DH has Monday off!) 
2) Going into city centre for lunch & a matinee with mapleleafgirl72 today. 
3) Weekend weather forecast looks reasonably promising, right now. 
4) I made an awesome curry last night (and I'm not usually our household curry maker)! 
5) Still in my nightgown, need to get in the shower & get underway... 

Happy Friday everyone

1.) A boring week home signed off from work whilst still in pain...sigh... and I'm missing a work 'do tonight! Grr! Hopefully feel a bit better on Monday to go to work...
2.) Trying to figure out how to get private scans and other labs done
3.) Can't say the weekend will be any better, but at least some friends are going to come by and keep me company for a bit!!! 
4.) Reading my 5th book of the week!
5.) Have seen more olympics than I have ever wanted to watch! But I've been impressed with the BBC coverage. 

1. enjoying my last friday off work for a while... start my new job on Tuesday!  woohoooo!
2. uploading tons of photos on myspace as promised to family and friends
3. gonna make locally famous belly-buster burgers for MIL and FIL tonight... and have a few cans... gotta get to the store!
4. checking out new clothes I bought yesterday on my first English shopping trip
5. listening to New Order and eating a bowl of Fruity Pebbles i got in the post from my mom yesterday! 

1. The sun is finally shining! (I miss the sun)
2. Planning on walking the dog to Tamerton Foliot to pick blackberries
3. Drinking Coffee and Chicory which smells like home
4. Get to paint my plant troughs
5. Husband gets off early today!
