First one of these for me!

1. My first week of my new job is over and it has been great! I think the last terrible job was just a placeholder for me so I could find this one.

2. The blackberries are ripening and I had a lovely handful today picked off the brambles on the park while I walked the dogs.

3. It's my birthday this weekend! I can't believe I'm 33. We're going to Derby to shop a bit and then to a lovely local pub for lunch on Sunday.

4. My hubby is spoiling me for my birthday. He's bought all sorts of things... Something he has to put together. I am dying to know.

5. I think my depression is getting better. Leaving behind the shitty job (and the just as shitty previous job) is really helping! My hubby said he's noticed I'm singing in the mornings again.

Fantastic, all of it!  ;D Happy Birthday !  [smiley=balloon.gif]

It's pretty awesome. 😁

I'll totally tell you after I find out. Haha. It'll be Sunday.

Does she? Mylo's been seeing me eating them and he sniffs them... But he doesn't think raspberries or blackberries are food.

That's adorable!
Mylo sniffs and nibbles at them but I think the nobbly texture puts him off. Lily just doesn't get it and can't figure out what I'm eating.

Adorable!  :D

hah thanks. We genuinely have NO idea how she learned to do that randomly one day. Panicked thinking it might not be good for her so gave it a quick google and it's actually not bad for her at all so I let her crack on with it lol but it does give me a good giggle watching we gingerly pick them off branches. Not a clue what made her decide to randomly start doing it one day...

It definitely might be the texture!

It's the only thing I can think of, that and they don't taste like anything until you break the skin. They'll eat slightly squished raspberries and now they eat blueberries but they used to just play with them.
