1. Did about 6 or 7 practise exams online last night and passed them all!!! Not with perfect scores or anything but it sure beats having the majority be fails :D :D :D I need to book my test but I'm struggling to sort out the mail (my own doing) that will qualify as I have mail with my US name on it but it's not necessarily something I think they would accept... GR.

Are you talking about the life in the UK test? Yeah, the name has to exactly match the id that you use.
It's not difficult to fix though, just contact your bank or utility company and have them amend your name to exactly match your passport or BRP.

Oh XoD.  How sad about the pup!!!!  Big hugs to your whole family.

Ugh, we thought she was better but then she had a big set back on Monday.  And was puking again!  FIVE DAYS after Puke round #1.  So while she seems better, I'm not counting my chickens yet.

Thanks. I know it sounds dumb to some people but it's going to be a really tough blow I think as it was quite unexpected. We knew he was having issues with his back legs but just out of the blue yesterday my husband got a text saying "we had to put Logan down this morning". No clue how the girls are doing but my BIL is DEFINITELY going to be gutted as that was his big boy.

UGH that is awful!! That is so much puke as well :( Did you eventually get the doctors to give you the correct diagnosis? I can't remember if you had posted about it or not (my brain is already fried today).
My, how time flies....

Definitely really sh*tty.....  :\\\'( He was our dogs favourite dog as well........We saw them weekly so it'll be SO odd...

Messaged my SIL today to just say I was sorry to hear and to ask if there was anything we could do...it's tough because I didn't want to say something and make her think about it more and upset her but I didn't want to not say something and come off as insensitive or uncaring.

I know, it's a really fine line.  :-\\\\  My friend called me out of the blue on Monday to tell me she had to put her Springer down. I emailed her on Tuesday morning just to let her know that I was thinking of her but haven't heard back...

Yeah I didn't want to message when I found out yesterday as I thought it might be too raw.....I know what you mean, it's a verryyy fine line. So sorry for your friend :( But also, it's nice knowing in a way that she felt like she had somebody she could talk to about it (you) so she didn't have to just deal with being upset by herself.

Totally, I was really glad she had called.

Some people might feel like they don't want to put you out with their bad news or that they think you might think it's stupid as some people would give the "it's just a pet" response and just decide to deal with it themselves vs talk to someone. So definitely nice she reached out I think.

"it's just a pet"

I cannot even come up with the words for someone who would give that response.  :\\\'(

She messaged back saying thanks and they are just trying not to think about it right now but appreciates the thoughts etc. Don't want to rock the boat tooooo much.
