So sorry to hear about Brandy and the pups. Parvovirus is rough, and there isn't anything they can do really. Would love to see some pictures of the puppies I'd you get any!

And yay for corndogs dogs!!! What do you put on yours? I'm a French's mustard person.😊

I dipped my corn dogs in ranch, and they were lush!

This is the only pic i have -- taken while the other 2 were still in hospital, but here is Brandy with Ginny.

She looks like a very happy momma. :) Nature is cruel, but I'm glad she still has 3 little ones to nurture.

OMG ...

I want her. She's so scruffy. What a beautiful mummy. Her puppy is adorable.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

I was just about to post that she's available for adoption, but when i went to add the link, i noticed 2 wee stars next to her name, and that means... she's been reserved!!!  OMG, Brandy will be going to her forever home, as soon as the puppies are old enough!

So.... did you go camping?  How are you feeling?

I did in the end after having slept most of Friday (I came home about a half hour - hour early from work and slept for like 2.5 hours, work up for maybe 2 or 3 hours? then went to bed early and woke up around 9ish on Saturday). I actually think the fresh air really helped and, THANKFULLY, it was really nice weather so was warm (even through the night..I was actually roasting in my sleeping bag!). Took lots of pills with me and didn't drink much and was actually happy I went as I ended up having a REALLY lovely time with everybody.

I still have a nasty sounding cough, but I feel SOOOOOOOOOOO much better! Just miles better than where I was on Friday.

Thanks for asking :)

yeah we got realllyy lucky because you never know what kind of weather you'll get for camping in mid-September lol. I was keeping an eye out and that's how I made the judgement call to go or stay (I thought that worse case scenario, I'd just drive home as we were only 2 hours away and Rik could get a lift back with our friends on Sunday). The dog also did realllllyyy well, especially given she had no other dog friends with her and there were donkeys and cows EVERYWHERE. I know New Forest is big for ponies, but I saw barely any ponies and a f*ck ton of donkeys and cows!!

We went to the beach for an hour on Sunday before going home and the sea breeze just made me feel so calm and happy :) That would probably qualify for a LMH in itself.

Oh, I'm so relieved!  Good that you rested so much beforehand.  I'm glad you had such a good experience, after all that dread.
