The night has taken a turn.  Now I am sat in the waiting area of the Minor Injuries Unit waiting for my husband to get his fingers stitched back together.  Fortunately, it's his right hand, so not his fretting fingers.  We are still go for guitar.

On another bright note, they called him back fairly quickly.  It's not too busy for a Friday night.

You guys play a rough game of backgammon. I’ve almost never ended in hospital after a game.

Ksand, I’m totally going to get caught up on the red arrows program.  Totally up our alley!

Awesome :). Any time they mention what the weather is supposed to be doing or not doing in the local area, they’re looking at the coded forecast that I write for them every 3 hours :).

Was just going to ask if it was like SKINS. Sounds like it! :D

They do adults now too! Or they are going to start to soon at least. I read about it and when we were looking at going to Disney on a family trip, that was the one thing I did want to do! haha
Are they? The rules last time I went don't alllow adults to dress like the characters to ensure the magic isn't ruined by someone dressed as snow white who is clearly not acting like her... If you know what I mean.

They do allow you to dress up for the running races that take place at Disney.

The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.

hahah I'd give no sh*ts! I want my princess make-over to unleash my inner mermaid!  ;D hahahaha she's just waiting to come out! But I think the adult "makeovers" are a lot different (and more expensive LOL) than the kids ones. You don't get like outfits or anything just like a spa thing where they'll do nails or hair or makeup (or all of it). I'd be all for getting my seashell tiara though...just sayin'

Haha. The articles talking about people who 'Disney Bound'. Or create outfits that are inspired by iconic character looks. There's a rabbit hole to fall down on Instagram. It's been a 'thing' for ages and of course Disney is going to try and cash in on it.

It doesn’t mention dressing up so I assume it’s still a no-go on that. It’s just that they do hair and makeup and nails, etc.

I am always super impressed by any type of cosplay or creating their own looks, especially when it’s people who make their own outfits etc. I have a friend from Hugh school that makes Disney theme outfits for her trips to Disney (she LOVES disney). Will have to look this up on insta haha

We're very serious about our backgammon.  We have a spreadsheet, and everything.  ;D

Way to go jfkimberly!   ;D Start as you mean to go on!

The night has taken a turn.  Now I am sat in the waiting area of the Minor Injuries Unit waiting for my husband...

Oh, no!!! That is not what I meant!  He didn't cut them off did he???  :o

Get well soon Mr jfkimberly!

Hehe  Oops!

Mr. Jfkimberly thanks you.  He was given three stitches, three more 'paper stitches', and a cotton sock.  They apparently asked him several times how he cut himself, as if they weren't completely satisfied with his answer.  But he wants to assure everybody that he definitely did NOT try to juggle a cleaver.  Because that would be stupid.

Anyway, he's fine.  And from the moment it happened 'til we were back home resuming our "what should we do for dinner" discussion, was only about two hours... and that includes Googling where we were supposed to go!

Glad he's OK.. kinda!  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

Isn't the NHS wonderful? There when you need it and no dreading the bill coming though the letterbox later!

Friday!!

1.) My usual: Work burnout, galore.  Job hunting, but so hard in this area.  [smiley=confused.gif]

2.) Burns Night, but totally forgot to add haggis to my weekly shop. Maybe this weekend I will buy some.  Had haggis, neeps and tatties 2 weeks ago, so not craving too much.  I do love haggis.
 [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

3.) Not much on for my weekend at the moment. Unusually. O0

4.) Second episode of new series of Grand Tour tonight. Such a good laugh.   ;D ;D ;D

5.) )One of my chickens laid a 'fart egg' or '*bleep* egg' most unusually the other day.   [smiley=laugh.gif]
