Friday Five!

1.  it's a stunningly beautiful day today... cold and crisp, but bright and sunny... my favourite!
2.  waited from 8 till 11.48 for the man to turn up to fix my oven... i'd told him when i booked him that i had to shoot off no later than 12.   F*ckwit arrives at 11.50-- 2 minutes after i'd left, and then phones to berate me for not being in!!

3.  Drove nearly 2 hours to my tattoo appointment (my first ever!) to be told that the tattoo artist is off sick today.  Naturally, they'd never asked for my phone number, so they couldn't have rung me to tell me not to bother coming. 

4.  Feeling completely hacked off now, after driving 2 hours back again.

5.  Think i'll cheer myself up with a takeaway for me and Mr Dave.

1. I foolishly volunteered to do my MIL's Christmas shopping for the girls. Why, Mindy, Why?
2. Funny and strange week at work
3. Found out our assistant manager is retiring in January.
4.  Felt really low on Thanksgiving.
5. Am off to a good start with Xmas shopping and am hitting the sales just right so far.

Friday!

1.) Going away for the weekend with J and I'm a bit nervous and excited 
2.) I've been working myself to the bone this week, most days getting in early and leaving at 10pm, so I am so ready for the weekend and doing some relaxing 
3.) Even as we take the train tonight, I need to take my work laptop and the mobile broadband so that I can approve things and do some urgent things for folks who are 8 hours behind us in their work day 
4.) Its so dark and dreary today, its gross!! 
5.) Only 11 days until my Christmas holidays, come on quicker!! (Oh I get to take my work laptop along back to my parents house so I can do some work then too  )

1) 3 days of work down for the month, only 6 to go!
2) We have a mostly free weekend & DH is planning to do some work on our never-ending bedroom re-do project.
3) Need to write my 'Dear Santa' list today - DH and some of his family want ideas.
4) Need to make a start on Christmas shopping online today for the US folks.
5) Looking forward to meeting up with the Yorkshire Yanks peeps tomorrow at the Leeds German Christmas market.

1.  An investor is coming to meet with the directors today to discuss a management buy-out of the company.... I really hope it works out so we can keep our jobs.

2.  Hoping we can go to a Christmas concert thingy in Alnwick on Sunday, one of our former coworkers is in the choir and invited us... would be soooo cool to see Bach's Christmas Oratorio in an ancient church....

3.  Should be getting our Lovefilm dvds today - website states that Mama Mia and Kung Fu Hustle are on the way.... YEA!!!!!!!!

4.  Need to fill in application for provisional driving licence today....

5.  About to go up to coworkers office and grab some chocolates!

1.  I was up until 3am with the cough from hell
2.  Due to 1 above, I am headachy, tired and uber-cranky
3.  I am determined to write my Christmas cards today ... well, some of them, anyway
4.  I'm dragging my bf to not one but TWO Christmas markets this weekend!
5.  My hair is so so so dirty and am I so so so not in the mood to shampoo it

1.  didnt have to travel to Edinburgh for work today
2.  getting loads of work dont (no, really!) cos im in a quiet office where no one knows me, and therefore cant bug me with stupid requests
3.  leaving at 3 today
4.  meeting an old friend at 5 for a curry and beer
5.  going to see Deacon Blue tonight

1.  My email server at work is down.

2. I have my end of year review thingy today.

3. I really don't want to go to dh's Christmas works do tonight especially as it is in the same complex as my work one I am skipping, and I'm really tired.

4. My office is actually warm today!

5. I had a big lunch.  

1. Fell asleep on the couch last night and woke up late. I had five minutes to get out the door to be on time for work. Look like crap and feel worse.
2. Going to the town Christmas parade early tomorrow morning and then to get our tree...no real plans for the weekend after that thank goodness. 
3. Going to have pizza for dinner but really want fish.
4. Looking at the yogurt on my desk but I really want something either made of chocolate or salt. 
5. Only six days to Disneyland!!

1. Finally on the tail end of a bad week.
2. DH will be home from a week away on Sunday (yay!)
3. Getting a much-needed bang trim tomorrow.
4. Some friends have a table at a local craft market tomorrow, and I just found out the market is only a few blocks from where #3 happens.  Can't wait to surprise them.
5. Going to make pumpkin scones this weekend, and I can't wait.

1. Cleaned the new house today.
2. Starting to move tomorrow but won't be in until the 13th.
3. Still, the xmas decorations are top priority!!
4. Making Philly cheese steaks tonight and S'mores for dinner.
5. It's SUNNY but cold!

1.  Working tomorrow, but that's OK. 
2.  Hubby and I will celebrate his birthday when I get home from work tomorrow.   
3.  Nibbling on chocolate frosting and peanut butter.   
4.  A customer today thought I was romantically involved with a 19 year old! 
5.  Thinking it would be nice to go out for dinner for hubby's birthday tomorrow night. 

1.) Our consultation period doesn't begin until the middle of January, so I won't know if I lose my job until February. So still in a panic about my immigration status, but will go and enjoy my holidays at home and at least don't have to worry about whether or not I can get back into the country. My boss offered to marry me though so I can stay. Hahahah 
2.) Our Christmas party tonight is going to be heavily fortified with drink.
3.) Working on pulling together my evidence to switch to a tier 1 visa application!!
4.) Will spend the rest of the weekend cleaning, packing, and baking Christmas presents.
5.) I really worry about the folks losing their jobs, even more so than me, because there is absolutely nothing like this company up here in the middle of nowhere.  So lots of people will be stuffed and have to leave the area. Watching the world crash economically is not fun!
