Friday Five!

1) Passed a driving test I had to take to get my driving permit
2) Drove the Bug superfast on some back country roads in bright sunshine under clear blue skies
3) Kitty's diarrhea has cleared up
4) Forgot clothes in the washer and had to rerinse them
5) Watched the LOST season premiere with DH last night and I'm still trying to figure out what happened today

1.  I'm on annual leave today!
2.  Got a doctor's appointment at 8:10
3.  Plan on doing a house-cleaning blitz today
4.  Going to the pub at 6.
5.  Prematurely feeling nervous about meeting boyfriend's work colleagues tomorrow.

1.) Did not want to get out of my bed this morning and can't wait for a lie in

2.) Pub tonight with some friends I haven't been out with in a while

3.) Another busy-ish day at work and a new, complicated project, which is exciting

4.) Managed to get a full blown cold despite all my efforts to try and stave it off and I'm not happy about it

5.)  Still waiting to hear from the hospital regarding seeing a specalist, depsite my urgent referall

I swell with pride! 

1. New Lidl opened next to my work and I'm going to pop in for my favorite sausages this afternoon.
2. No plans this weekend, but I'd like to go see a film.
3. My new pilates DVD arrived and I plan on trying it out this morning.
4. Got paid today.
5. Getting a ride to work this afternoon, which means I'll have time for a walk.

1) I made an amazing steak and ale pie last night.
2) I am slightly hungover.
3) DH is coming down with a cold.
4) I need a shower.
5) And a nap!

PS - I asked DH to pick up some Sambucol from Boots while he's in town today (I'm out in the 'burbs and there's no place to get it around here without going into city centre), because he's got a cold & I don't want to be sick again. But he's being his usual skeptical 'I don't believe it' self, so we probably won't end up with any. 

1. We finally pick up the keys to our new place this afternoon and will start moving and setting things up this weekend! 

2. Found out today that the commercial director would like to send me to a marketing convention in Leeds next month, so I smell a promotion! (Provided the sale of the company goes as planned, but everyone keeps saying it will go through, so I am remaining positive!)

3. Picking up the little guy after work and he gets to help us move some stuff to the new house next door. He loves carrying things, so it should be fun for him.

4. It's supposed to be FREEZING cold this weekend, so we should really get to check out the brand spanking new heating system in our new place.

5. We get a three day week next week so we can have Thursday and Friday off to move stuff, wait for BT and Sky dudes to come over, get furniture delivered, and all sorts of fun stuff. I can't wait to get all moved in!

3. Traveling to Florida next weekend to visit DH's grandparents - they are not doing well at all.

It's still early days, but i'm very happy at the moment! 

1. I managed to successfully avoid the norovirus going around my campus by....acquiring an upper respiratory infection  

2. My W2 came today, but I didn't go to work because I'm a monster of infection.  My boss said she'd hand-deliver it to the building where my last class of the day is to avoid walking up the massive hill to my work building.

3. I'm getting my hair cut today for the first time since October.

4. I've had to cancel plans with a high school friend for tonight because i don't want to be the obnoxious person with the trucker cough in the middle of the theater.

5. I have a paper due at 5pm that I haven't started yet.

1. Work was stressful and bitchy this week.
2. I made a £11,1119 mistake on my till and said the  F-word in front of customers.
3. We're going to London on Sunday
4. Various subs for clubs have cost me nearly £100 this week.
5. I've bribed the husband to get take-out tonight.

2.  I downloaded Lost last night and can't wait to watch!

Do this ASAP. You will not believe some of the stuff going on!!

1. Got my tax returns direct deposited today
2. Went to book my ticket to visit BF in May and prices have skyrocketted since last night.  &$^$*@!!
3. Have to go to the courthouse AGAIN today to deal with stupid suing issue (STILL!)
4. My friend canceled our plans tonight to go on some date, so I think I'll stop by the liquor store and pick up my best friend - Strongbow! and have a night in.
5. TMI, but my bra today is VERY uncomfortable and I am VERY unhappy about that!
