They are going to learn very quickly that if you make noise at 5:00am you get mealworms.  8)

FRIYAY!

1.  I think I've finally turned the corner with my health.  At least I sure hope so.  Night before last, I woke with an excruciating pain in my side flank that went away.  I suspect my kidney stone moved along!  Back doesn't hurt anymore!

2.  We leave a week tomorrow to go to Florida.  Will really be the first time I've EVER spent time with my nephews and niece.  I used to babysit my eldest nephew a lot but he was 1 when I moved, so.... he's probably changed.  Will be an interesting week with my brother.  He's Pro-Trump, Pro-Guns, and will be thrilled at the Roe v Wade reversal.  He's a Christian Extremist.  I just hope I get to spend lots of time with everyone and politics stays out of conversations.

3.  Builders were back doing more this week.  We literally have TWO things left to be done but they won't be done until we return from Florida.  So so so close.  Yesterday, they levelled the garage and raised the floor as we didn't have a seal from the garage door.  The good news is the garage is 100% empty.  The bad news is we look like the Beverly Hillbillies with ALL SORTS OF EVERYTHING on the front lawn.  I have no idea why things weren't put out back.  We plan to paint/expoxy the garage floor while it's bare this weekend and then load everything back in.  Our poor neighbors.  Just when things start to look good....  :D

4.  Hoping to get packed today as we play to do Send my Bag to the USA as our tickets didn't include bags and we can be sure our stuff arrives.

5.  We were supposed to go to London for Secret Cinema tomorrow but as I have been so ill, we decided earlier in the week to not go.  Hopefully we will have the energy to get some things sorted around the house before we leave town.

Bonus - my daughter has a gymnastics competition (her first) on Sunday.  I'm looking forward to watching!!

Ksand24, I hope you've made it to Disney okay!
KFDancer, glad you're starting to get on the mend!

Happy Friday!!
1.) Hitting 21C this weekend and 23C on Tuesday.  Woo! Heat wave!   :P

2.) Cleaning the garage. I know I seem to do this often, but it's amazing at how quickly it turns into a dumping ground when you're into outdoor activities. Uggh.  :-X

3.) Making beer!  Pumpkin stout!   [smiley=chef.gif]

4.) More music rehearsals this weekend  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

5.) Hope to get onto my bike for a wee pedal  [smiley=bandana.gif]

I have, thanks .

Got to my hotel about 4pm yesterday, had a shower and then went to Magic Kingdom to pick up my park tickets and spend a bit of time in the park… of course, there was a massive thunderstorm starting right when I got there!

Ksand I think we overlap in Florida. Holler if you fancy some time in Clearwater!  Though I remember you get to see some family at the end of your trip.

No overlap.  If all goes to plan I leave on the 23rd.  Did you fly from Heathrow?  What it as awful as I’ve heard?   ::)

Ah, that’s a shame.

No, I flew from Manchester as it was £200 cheaper. It wasn’t too bad at Manchester - bag drop opened 4 hours before the flight time so I arrived at 6am for a 10am flight. Took about 10 min to drop my bag. I joined the Security queue at 6:15am and was through by 7am.

FRIYAY!

1.  Leave for Florida tomorrow.  Taxi collecting us at 6am.  Hoping the airport is smooth.  YIKES!!  I have to pack today.  I get SO SO SO GRUMPY when packing.  I truly hate it.

2.  Had a big work deadline but it was due Wednesday, so that is a HUGE help is not having to finish a big project the same day.

3.  Not totally sure how I'll survive a week with my brother, who is an extremist Christian.  I think we all know the extremists are the "problem".  He's Pro-Trump, Pro-gun, and will be THRILLED that Row v Wade was over ruled.  He's definitely a fan of the subservient wife role....  UGH.  I adore him, he's my big brother.  But we need to just spend a week talking about things that don't matter.  Oh and his kids are home schooled.

4.  I am REALLY looking forward to the cousins meeting/getting to know one another.  My kids are 8 and 5 and don't know their aunt and uncle or cousins (only through screens).  His kids are 13, 10, and 9.  So it SHOULD be great fun for them to play together on the beach for a week and bond.

5.  Sad to leave the kittens of course.  Poor boys.  They'll have each other and be spoiled rotten by the cat sitter though.  ;D
