Another garlic product I love: GIA Garlic Puree in Vegetable Oil.

We love garlic, and I use the real thing in recipes, but this is great for a quick garlic fix. I love to spread a light amount on sandwiches or toast. Last night I mixed it with mayo for an awesome dip for our chicken goujons, chips and onion rings (DH was experimenting with the deep fat fryer--one of his favorite wedding presents). Not exactly healthy, but a very yummy treat. I think I could do without seeing a piece of fried food for a long while!

You know I saw this for the first time yesterday in my Goodfood Magazine!  It's on my list to buy next time in the market.  Looks so good!

We always have GIA Garlic puree in the house. I use it on most everything. I smear a light layer on my chicken before putting it in the oven and its devine! Never tried the garlic mayo that way but Im going to!

also in sainsbury's you can get 'garlic grain pepper'... it's just ground black pepper with dried garlic in it.   i use that in just about every dish!

Slightly off the garlic topic (apologies!), but does Sainsbury's do a lemon pepper? I don't have a Sainsbury's near me, but I've never found a salt-free lemon pepper at Tesco, Co-op, Asda or Lidl (and that's all I've got to choose from). I end up having people send it to me from the US. If I could find some here, I'd be oh so happy!!

Back to garlic: Will have to get some of this GIA stuff! Sounds yummy!  :)

Thank you!!! You're the best!!  ;D

I think I've seen something somewhere with lemon in it, but it also had salt which I don't want. I miss Mrs. Dash!

I think the health food shop here has a lemon pepper, if Stacey can't find it at Sainsburys let me know and I'll get you some.

I like this stuff for lemon pepper.... it's a paste, though, and does have salt in it, but not a lot.
