UCAS
« on: February 22, 2007, 07:08:06 PM »
Hi am new to the site. I have been lurking a bit and I am a bit confused with UCAS. What is the point? When I went to the site it doesn't seem that easy to navigate. It doesn't seem personal for them to send mass International applications to a bunch of schools for you. When I look up different UK universities it seems less challenging to most US institutions so whats the point if English is your primary language? What is the advantage to using that site? thanks nikki :)

UCAS is the central application clearinghouse for undergraduate apps to UK universities.  It has nothing to do with being international- British students and overseas students alike have to use that system to apply for any undergraduate course.
Now a triple citizen!

Student visa 9/06-->Int'l Grad Scheme 1/08-->FLR(M) 7/08-->ILR 6/10-->British citizenship 12/12
