moving YAY!
« on: February 25, 2007, 03:44:04 PM »
We're moving! We've been in our flat for over a year now and we'd like to move on. Partly because of the flat. It's a lovely little flat, but the second bathroom has plumbing problems (all of the en suites in the building do), so we never use that bathroom. We also don't use the second bedroom, other than to put our clothes in there when we're too lazt to put them away. The new place is a brand new build, but it's in an old building. The kitchen is huge as wel as the living area. It only has one bed and bathroom but it's all we need. I'm glad to give up the second bedroom for a bigger living area. Plus the landlord is paying for our parking permit for one year.

I can't wait!

Nice!

Didn't you just move or am I confusing you with someone else?  ???

We are looking to move in April.

We're in Hull. I occasionally look at the estate agent's website to see what new properties come up. I knew that was being built a while ago and knew when it would be done, so I make sure to keep checking. That's how I found this place. We did want to move to a different flat in another building, but lost it. Check out all the estate agent's sites first, because some flats in this building are so much cheaper with other agents. It is worth trying to make offers on flats that have been on the market for a while. We did look at a flat a while ago and the guy lowered the price only by £5 a month, so we passed. It was on the market for ages, and it is worth a try.
