I miss these so much....

This reminds me of an interesting article I read in my local paper back home recently about gourmet dishes made by culinary students using girl scout cookies as a chief ingredient:

I am very happy for you but I totally hate you lol

Everytime this thread shows up with new posts I start to thinking about GS cookies. It is awful!  :P

(Oh and Pebbles I must be even older than you because I can't even remember how much we sold them for!!)  :-X

I would hate me too!  ;)

Wonder how much they cost when I ws selling them in the early to mid 1970s?

No way!  I'd be happy to at least do P&P.  I'm stuck in Edinburgh.

Frozen Thin Mints, crushed with a rolling pin.  Mix in vanilla ice cream.  Top with creme de menthe.

Bliss!

You don't have to worry about P&P. I really have too many boxes anyway and limited freezer space. Plus I am trying to be healthy.   :)

I just came across this website that figures out the recipes for some restaurant and other foods secret recipes. Some are free, some you have to pay for, but one of the free ones is for the GS cookies Thin Mints. Here's the link:

http://www.topsecretrecipes.com/recipedetail.asp?sessionid=&login=yes&id=46&page=

I haven't tried it yet, but the reviews are good. If you can't get the cake mix, I think they have a recipe for it on the site as well.
