Short Term accomodation

I've just broken up with my g/f (i moved to London for her) and need to move out...

I'd like to get out of her place as soon as possible however I don't want to rush into an apartment that may not suit me longer term.

Any suggestions for not horribly expensive short let accomodation... Ideally with broadband service...

You could also try a youth hostel in the interim, if you need to move out immediately.
