summer squash?

When my beau visited me here in Florida and we cooked with summer squash he said he had never seen it before.
I remember never seeing it when i was in Colchester in the Tesco or at the market (it was a little market though).

Does anyone know if summer squash makes its way to england?

I cook it all the time in the summer, so yep, it's available. I've never found loads of it, nothing like back in the US, but I was always able to find some at major grocery stores like Waitrose and Tesco...
