Solo card issue number

I just got my Solo card (with Natwest) in the mail today and had it activated. Now I'm trying to buy a mobile phone online and when choosing the Solo card it requires an issue number. My Solo card doesn't have an issue number though. I checked the Solo website and they say not every card has an issue number, but Virgin won't let me get past the payment page without one. Anyone know what to do?

Buy a different phone.

I have a RBS switch card, which also doesn't have an issue number.  Until a few years ago, buying anything on line was impossible.  Now most sites have a space where you can put issue date instead, but it seems Virgin are one that doesn't.

I'm thinking I may have to go to a different phone company. I'm going to phone Natwest monday and see what they say, maybe there's an option like putting in "00".
