Well panic over.
I don't think I could have avoided the panic, it just felt so stressful, but, our preparation was meticulous and everything filed in order, along with copy/original.
The evidence of our 7 year marriage wasn't even looked at, more the job aspect, which was fine based on what I have to date, conditional offer and new interest from another employer. References, brief glance at finances.
The one thing that WAS critical and would have halted the application if we hadn't had it, was the notarised permission letter from the non-custodial parent for my step-daughter.
Anyway, drove down from Boston, in at 9am, approved by 9:30am and ILR's in passports and picked up by 10:30am!!
Phew, I can now sleep again!!!
:-)
