Need Help Finding a Studio or Double Room Flatshare
« on: March 24, 2007, 08:46:38 PM »
Hello everyone,

I need to move by 17th April and looking for leads to a studio apartment or flatshare that will allow a cat.  Flat is needed for about 6 months.

I am moving unexpectedly as my landlord received a notice of eviction for the property.  He apparently failed to pay his mortgage despite the fact that I've paid the rent every month on time.  And I'm the one who has to suffer due to his bad financial management.

In any event, in that I don't have much time to find a place, I am willing to consider flats north or south of the river.  The property just needs to be of a reasonable standard.  Also somewhat close to public transport.  I work close to St Paul's Cathedral and would like my commute to be no more than an hour door to door.

Thanks in advance for your help.  I am looking on gumtree and craigslist but thought I'd post here in case anyone new someone who had a space room to rent out!

Thanks for the suggestions! I'm trying to see if I can find a place to buy.  If I can find one buy Easter break, then I'll know just how long I need to rent for.   If not, I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and rent for 6 months.  That might actually be better anyway as it gives me more time to look for a place to purchase.
