A summer countdown
« on: March 30, 2007, 03:11:52 PM »
Hello Everyone,

How many of you are doing a countdown for either visiting the UK or having someone come visit you??

Currently I am counting down until July *sigh*  seems so so long away.

So if you would like to countdown with me....that would be great.

What date are you waiting for??

Audra

I'm counting down to August which is when I leave the UK for the US permanently (or at least for a VERY long time).  I should be there by the 20th at the very latest and my husband may come at that time or follow closely behind.  I can't freaking wait!

I am counting down until mid-June (probably) when my boyfriend will be coming over for a visit (with an expected "official" marriage proposal  ;)) We haven't set the dates firm just yet. But I am mostly counting down until September 15, when I will be moving permanently to the UK! (on a 2nd BUNAC visa, then briefly coming back to the US to obtain a fiancee visa, with a marriage in the works for next year.)

I just left him today and am having a hard time with it. On one hand, its the final push for us. Just a few more months and there won't be any more long periods of time away from each other. But on the other hand, we will be apart for longer between visits this time. Its going to be a difficult few months!

Sure it counts!  Welcome to the count down....

I just found out that I am required to take some computer courses for my promotion...which OF COURSE are scheduled during the time I was planning on being in London....so now my count down has switched from June to late July  :-[

Eh, we gotta do what we gotta do huh?

Man, this is going to be a busy summer....but that way the time goes faster right???  Right??

Exactly. I try to think in one week increments, it seems to make the time go by faster for me.
