hiya from South Wales

Hello all!
  I'm from Virginia and have been living in South Wales for 3 years now. I've only recently discovered these expat sites. It's been a comfort to read the posts and find out that all in all, I'm relatively normal!    Shocked me!  Looking forward to hopefully, getting to know some of you.  Thanks and y'all take care!

I'm new at this posting thing, so please bear with me.    
Let's see...First of all, thank you for the welcome.    Secondly, Tenrith, it's a long story as to how I ended up here in Wales.  Probably not so much different than alot of others though. Melissa, we're about 18 miles north of Cardiff, not far from Aberdare.  I've been to Swansea and Mumbles and it is a gorgeous area! Kizmet, ask me anything! about me, the area...whatever you like!    and Missy....It truly is great to know that I'm normal. Well...as normal as I'M ever going to be.   I especially related to the "have I changed since moving over here" thread.  Loved it and made me feel much better!  Thanks again everyone!
