Outback Steakhouse
« on: February 26, 2004, 06:05:03 AM »
Just curious if anyone has tried the Outback Steakhouse in London or the other one in Essex (?).

Hubby and I were sitting in our local Outback here tonight enjoying a delicious meal and were discussing how much we were going to miss it. We then remembered that there were 2 in England.

If you have tried it, what did you think?

Hmm...haven't been to either, sorry. :-/  I hope they open up some more in Scotland, as I love Outback as well.  I will really really really miss Applebees though, I love their Oriental Chicken Salad...yummy.

Normally I try to stay away from American restaurants when visiting the UK, and try their restaurants and foods instead, but this time we're going to the TGI Fridays in Glasgow....soooooo excited to see if it's like the one here.  Took Steven to the one in Miller Park and he could not say enough good things about the burgers there (American burgers are definately the best...hehehe:D ).

Maybe there's a TGI Fridays near where you're going to live?  At least it's another familiar taste of home. ;)

TGI Friday's is the same, and I hear the Outback is too....even the prices are the same (as long as you don't do conversions in your head....ouch!)  How good does a steak have to be to be worth $40???

Oh I love the Outback in Romford, Essex..... very good!  My fave part about going there is the atmosphere .... just like being back in the States.   :)

Did you mean that's the only *eating* place you've seen Bud Ice?  Because we get it at the off-licence down the street, and at Co-Op as well.
