ACCEPTED TO SUSSEX!

I checked UCAS today and ive received unconditional acceptance on all 3 degree programs Ive applied for!!!!!!!!!!   I checked and saw the status change and Im like wtf? Unconditional? but then I looked it up on the UCAS faq page for students and I was shaking as I read it means the university has accepted me!  University of Sussex ranks in the top 50 or 60 schools in the whole world and I got in! ME!  I get to go to england and live with DB, and study in a great school, in a great setting.  its the opportunity of a lifetime!!!

Congratulations!!!

One of my friends went to Sussex University and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Yeah, unconditional means that they've given you a place with no conditions attached to it - which is basically the only type of place you can be given if you've already finished high school! Conditional offeres require the student to pass their final exams with certain grades, and since these exams haven't been taken at time of application, the acceptance is conditional on these grades. If they don't get the grades needed, the student will lose their place at the university.
