Mini Vacanza Di Milano!!
« on: February 26, 2004, 10:16:26 AM »
My husband just surprised me with a mini-vacation to Milano in a couple of weeks.  We made a promise that we would go on weekend getaways every other month (but I'm thinking every month) to Europe before we go back home to NY for good.

So this month it's Milano was suppose to be Venice but the travel times were not cooperative.  Anyway, has anyone ever been to Milano?  I lived in Italy for about a year (way back when) but that was in Rome and I never had the chance to get there.

Any pointers on what I should see besides the Duomo?  When I think of Milano I think shopping, fine dining and good nightlife kinda of how I view the city.
