Jay Leno & Conan O'Brien on CNBC
« on: April 17, 2007, 09:36:31 PM »
Not sure if anyone's noticed but for a few weeks now CNBC has been showing only 1/2 of Jay Leno's show and it's been moved from 10pm to 11.30 pm.  Conan is on even later, Apparently the reason is because they want to show more business programmes. GREAT!  Anyway, I found this petition about it, so if you want to get them back onto their normal timeslots please sign.

Thanks for that - we enjoy Leno. Did you hear about the (supposed) row brewing where Conan is trying to get Leno's spot?

No I didn't know about that.  We heard he's taking over the Tonight Show when Leno retires though. I don't think he's anywhere near as funny.

I agree, I don't think he's half as funny, he has a sort of limited appeal.
I was just noticing last night, when Jay Leno started, he had all black hair with the white stripe, and now, he has been doing this so long, he has all white hair with a white stripe! Thought it was funny.

I've never really "got" Leno's humour, to be honest. Conan was always more my cup of tea, so I'm pretty happy to hear that he might be taking over The Tonight Show:)

You know who I think would be really good as a Tonight Show host? Ellen De Generes.  I've seen her talk show a few times, she's very good, but the chances of them having a femal host for the T Show are probablyabout NIL.  I just don't always get Conan myself. Maybe it's an American thing, my husband likes him.
